RE: What to put on new SSD?
I would say it depends on the size of the SSD, the amount of data and your data structure. Of course basically as much as possible of your work files on the SSD. Durability shouldn't be a problem at all at these data rates.
I have all my data files (project files, documents, textures, models, materials, installers) stored on my file server. My recent projects and presorted textures and models on a 500GB SSD on the server (in RAID1). And the rest on HDD. All backuped to HDD. (so the network connection is the limiting factor) -

RE: SUbD 2 subdivision performance issues with SUbD Entity Info
I have already done a "clean install". And with only SUbD and TT_Lib loaded (and Advanced Camera Tools)... no difference.
IE version is 11.0.9600.18449 -
SUbD 2 subdivision performance issues with SUbD Entity Info
I noticed a massive performance problem when the "SUbD Entity Info" window is opened. While toggeling subdivision "on" (again for an already subdivided object) without the window is almost instant it takes MUCH longer, maybe 10x-100x for the same action when the window is open. The first time i thought it had crashed.
Changing the UV interpolation setting is also incredibly slow.
I just updated to v2.1 - same problem.Should i try a clean install? And if yes, is there more than the "TT_SUbD.rb" and the "TT_SUbD" folder that has to be removed?

RE: Version 2.1 is out - SUbD in multiple languages
No, it's not new. I already described the problem in the v2.0 release thread

subdivision is still much slower for me when the "SUbD Entity Info" window is opened

(though I will shave a lot of time in the future once I make dynamic components for windows/doors instead of making them from scratch)
If you find a way how to build more complex dynamic objects (rounded edges, textured, etc.) in a reasonable way, i would like to know it For me they are not usable now and i really can't understand why they aren't at least at the level of dynamic blocks in AutoCAD after such a long time. Would be really helpful for me to have a better dynamic component system...

RE: Version 2 is out!
Very nice update!
One question about the licensing... I just purchased v2 and installed it over v1. Without applying the v2 license key it appears to be licensed already. Is the v1 key also working for v2 or will it expire in 30 days? It only says "Licensed" without any other info.

RE: 3D Max file to Sketchup?
You could try "Reset XForm". This should normally solve the problem of displaced geometry.

RE: GTX 1060 performance?
Yes, i also think, that going back to the last officially supported nvidia driver (369.02) is worth a try. And then maybe reinstalling the chipset and intel VGA driver - you could try the original and the latest versions.

RE: GTX 1060 performance?
How about the energy settings in the nvidia control panel? Does it change anything if you set it to max performance?

RE: GTX 1060 performance?
Did you already try reinstalling the driver? (clean install)

RE: [REQ] Export a specified series of scenes
Thanks for the refund!
But concerning your comment

"since I refunded your payment, I'm wondering what lesson you think you learned."
I think you know this is nonsense since my comment is from Nov. 26 and I received your refund on Nov. 28.
And regarding your repeating "contact page" statement... I posted on your forum because I thought this would be its purpose and I wasn't aware of your contact page. Your first post about the contact page was on wednesday in your first reply to my forum post.

Incidentally, if you have a series of steps that you can present to replicate this particular situation, please share them so I can send it to the SU dev team.
I think I already described the steps since there is nothing more involved than creating new scenes - with and without camera information.

RE: [REQ] Export a specified series of scenes
Sorry, but I just needed a quick solution for a project, that was why I bought your plugin. It didn't work for me.
I posted this in your forum and got no reply - you answered almost 4 days later, but without offering a solution. Without the help of sdmitch i would have had to export the scenes manually, since I had to finish the project.
I don't know if it's a "glitch" in SU, but it seems to be possible to deal with it, as the solution of sdmitch is showing. And I'm using v2015, so even if it is a SU problem it's not a new one. And regarding your workaround... so you're saying, everything is working ok, I just have to change the scene settings every time I switch the camera? Really? Yes, i tried it and it's working, but it's not very practical when I have to do this every time I switch the camera when I have several dozen scenes - and this is why I bought your plugin. And seriously... this is your solution?
Anyway... $10 payed - lesson learned. -
RE: Sticking with my Macbook Pro for the foreseeable future!
If it's mainly because of OSX/macOS how about a Hackintosh? But I don't know how well it works with laptops. I never used OSX. The first thing i did with my MacBook Pro was formatting the HDD and installing Win7
A matte screen cover on a tablet sounds very interesting. Which screen cover are you using?
