Am I missing something?
Maybe this?
"On MacOS, SketchUp has to run in Intel mode (using Rosetta) if you have an Apple Silicon computer"

Yes, i would say they revolutionized the market when they released it almost 10 years ago. It could handle many more images than Photoscan (now Metashape) with better results and faster. Agisoft had a hard time to catch up. It's really great that RC is free now.
"Starting with the release of RealityCapture 1.4 [...] RealityCapture will become free if your company earns under $1 million USD in yearly revenue. RealityCapture will also be free to use for students, educators, and hobbyists."

Within 4 weeks, the licensing makes randomly 4 attempts to check the license online. If none of them can go through, then you need to revalidate online.
Thanks for the clarification. So it can be 4 weeks or anything before? Has it always been like this? Because i had to reactivate every 5 or 7 days the last time i tried it.

After activating you can work offline. The extension can ping periodically. Periodically would be once every ~4 weeks it phones home to see that your still good.
Thanks for your answer, Rich. So is this something that has been changed recently, as TIG said? Or is it the same situation as is always was? The reason for this question is, that it had been mentioned before that it would be 4 weeks, but my own experience was that it worked only for 5 or 7 days.

I know Fredo has greatly increased the time needed between online check-ins to avid your very problem...
So what's the time period now you can be offline without needing to reactivate the plugins?
I thought this would be an easy question. Is this a secret or why is no one willing to answer this?

The origin of the imported vrscene file is based on the origin of the original scene. So if you want to change it, you have to do this in Max before you export to vrscene.

Thanks for the link. That plugin is not available via the Sketchucatiob Plugin store.
You could also use Eneroth Solid Tools which support preselection of multiple objects...

You could try to remap the F1 key in Windows using the "Power Toys Keyboard Manager"
(gobally if you don't need it for other programs, or app-specific only for SketchUp)

I used match photo and got this result. These old buildings take a lot of work though, this took about 18 hours work so far.
You could leave it as it is and just use "Match Photo"?
With all these new functions and great improvements every year i think it's well worth it...
I think it all depends on your needs, the size of the terrain and what you are planning to show.
If you need clean topology to subdivide it further, i think i would use the intersected model as a base and manually draw a proper quad mesh over it (with much fewer points for good control and then subdivide it 2 or 3 times).
You could also use the trial of Revit and export obj, fbx or ifc from there.
You could use the trial of 3DS Max. Import the rvt file and export as obj or fbx.
Or use the trial version of the Simlab SKP Exporter Plugin for 3DS Max to export a skp file.
Or you could use the trial of Revit and export obj, fbx or ifc from there.
