@Rich-O-Brien Thanks Rich
I tried to install the bundle and see a long list of extensions but none of them are installed. What should I be doing to install the extensions?

@ntxdave In the process.
Is there a way to change the name of a bundle?

Best is to install the extensions fresh from their sources. Install the Sketchucation ExtensionStore first and use it to install your bundle of extensions from Sketchucation.
Thanks @Dave R, I am having problems getting SU setup on my new laptop but I will give your reply when I get things set up.

I also need to update the email address on my Fredo plugins. The existing email address is no longer valid.
Silly question: how do I update the email address related to my Fredo6 plugins. When I look at the license information it has an old email address that no longer exists. I could not find a way to edit it.
When I try to reply or add a post and want to include a file (like a skp file) I do not see the link to add a file. I also tried just dropping an skp file in the response box but got an error message that said I do not have the privilege to do that. I do not recall ever having that problem in the past. Can someone help?
@massimo I do not see the Upload file link on my reply page.
I tried to drag a file into the empty space and I got an error message that said I did not have enough privileges. So there is no way I can upload a file.
I have never seen this problem before.
@pixelcruncher Thanks for posting a link to the file. I want to use it to try to understand a couple of things in your tutorial.
I did not see Rich's link. The link in your documentation takes you to a page where the model is not available.
@ntxdave How do you upload a file/skp model?
I have installed Rayscaper to try to learn how to use it. Β When I go to the Quick Start guide there is a link to download the sample model (rs_shader_ball-scene[v2020].skp) but when I click on it, it goes to the SketchUcation site. How do you find/download the sample file to use for the tutorial?
@majid Thanks for sharing.
I wish I had talent and a brain to come up with stuff like this. Maybe this is what happens as we age.
Nic work Majid. I do not have an indeed account so I could not see them but I assume several were from your book.
@pixelcruncher
Well there are three areas I have been looking at.
Trimble Connect allows you to save a SketchUp model that can later be viewed in 3D. Since this is all native SU materials and etc. it would be neat if your rendering features could be included.
A SketchUp midel can also be uploaded to Sketchfab. I am not sure but I think Sketchfab saves them in a glb file format. They also allow you to do some βrenderingβ in their editor but being able to export your rendered version would be neat. After you have exported your midel to them you can then embed a link to the model on a web page and it will then be presented in a full 3D format (this is kind of something mikar to the Trimble Connect I discussed above).
A 3rd option would be that SketchUp also allows you to save a model as a glb format. There are several products ou there that will then allow you to present a glb file in a 3D format on a web page. Many of those tools also allow you to some βrenderingβ as part of their tools.. It would be neat if you could export the rendered version of the model to a glb format. I have to admit that I have been having some issues with this one because I do not have a web server and most of these tools rely on a couple of javascript tools that I do not/can not have installed on my laptop.
I know that this is a little far out there but given the growth in the 3D world it would be really neat to be able to share a rendered midel in a full 3D environment instead of just images and movies.
@fredo6 I think @pixelcruncher is going to contact you. I have suggested it to him and I saw a response in another thread where he said he was going to contact you.
@pixelcruncher That is what I was trying to suggest. I also suggested to Fredo6 that he contact you. In the past I have used Twilight Render but that is headed toward the end and from what I haves seen your renderer would be a good alternative. :
Something else to think about in the future is the ability to view a rendered model in a 3D model viewer.
@pixelcruncher Does that mean with the Animator plugin?
@pixelcruncher
You need to talk with @fredo6-animator and discuss having RayScaper as an option with his Animator plugin.
