Lots of views but not a single comment.... 
I had posted on their forum that the Windows download does not contain a .rbz file. After a send post (couple of weeks ago) they posted a message that says "under review". Nothing has happened yet though.
Wondering is anyone is/has used the product and can give any feedback. I would like to try it but so far can not install it.

Either this means that no one else is using the product or that no one wants to comment. I have built a couple of presentations now but have not made the decision to purchase the product. I think it is a good product and they just added a new feature that is a step forward that I think lays the foundation for some powerful features that to date have not been added (again, just my opinion).
Would love to hear from someone who has/is using the product to see what you think.

I tried making a 2 scene section cut to show "animation" and when I went from Scene 2 back to Scene 1, the section cut disappeared and would not work a second time. Will have to watch the video again and see what I did wrong. I do not have any experience with using this feature so will need to keep working. I can see some interesting possibilities 
I know this is a dumb question, I have seen it before but cannot find it any more so here goes:
I would like to split a solid object, say a cube. I know that I can create something like a rectangle that is bigger than the cube and then use the Split in the solids tools. However, if I just create a rectangle and then try it, I get the message that one of the objects (the rectangle). I have tried several things to turn the rectangle into a solid object, in fact if I click on the rectangle and look at the Entity Info, it has the information that makes you believe that it is a solid. I know Dave R has demonstrated this (as have others) before but I am doing something stupid that keeps this from working.
I also remember another post by Dave R where he did a "wavy" rectangle to help someone cut of bristles in a brush. I would also like to know how he created the "wavy" rectangle as I see a use for that as well.
Again, I know this is dumb and redundant but I have a need to do this and cannot remember how to do it.
I have a model where I would like to be able to cut away part of the walls at an angle to reveal the contents of a building but I do not want to cut the contents of the room. I would like to add an angular section cut but I want all of the equipment/furniture in the room to show completely without any cuts. Hope I am making myself clear.
I have looked at the tutorials for section cuts and Skalp and am thinking this is not possible. If anyone has a suggestion of how I might accomplish this I would certainly like to hear it.
Finally got the cache cleared to the point that I now can connect to the 3D Warehouse again.
How about the other issue though, is the blank Model component normal and I just did not notice it before?
Well that did not work either (powering down and restarting). The problem persists.
I am suddenly seeing other strange things as well. When I bring up the components, in the drop down window, it shows some blank unit in the components window that I do not ever remember seeing before (see screen capture below)and there is nothing I can do to get rid of it.
What the heck is going on? This all just started this morning..............

There are a few basic things to check when you get this problem, SU uses internet explorer to access the internet whether you have it as your default browser or not.
So it might fix it if you clear it's cache and make sure it is up to date.
Make sure you can access the warehouse web page directly within IE.
It could also be your Anti Virus software, try disabling that for a second a see.
Tried all of these (except the Anti Virus software). This has been working fine until I was in the middle of something this morning. Now it suddenly does not work. Yes, I can access the warehouse natively in IE. I saw this start happening a couple of days ago but after several tries I could get past it. Today, nothing seems to be helping.
As I said, I was working on a model and when I tried to download a model from the warehouse, SU just closed (thank heaven it saved a backup copy of my model). When I reopened the problem with the warehouse started and now will not go away. I am going to try closing down my machine completely and see if that makes any difference........
I was working with the 3D Warehouse when SketchUp just closed. Now every time I try to connect to it, I get the message that I need an internet connection (see message below). I have tried multiple times but keep getting the message. I also tried closing SU and then just start with a blank page and still get it. I then tried restarting my machine and the message still keeps coming up.
Any suggestions?
Was wondering if anyone is using this plugin. I have not been able to install it because the Windows download does not contain a .rbz file. If there are people using the product, I would like to hear your feedback.
Anyone using CL3VER? If so, I would like to have some feedback on your results/opinions. I am trying it out (I just have the free version) and while I like it, I am having some problems and thought it would be good if some others could share their experience with the product.

I was doing a little experimenting and I clicked on the Position Camera. Now it "clips" the view when I orbit the view. How do I remove the "Position Camera"? I tried setting it to 0 but that did not accomplish what I want. I tried looking at the Model Info but did not see anything there.

We have a SketchUp plugin that you can download from sketchucation http://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=Cl3ver or from teh official SketchUp extension warehouse http://extensions.sketchup.com/en/content/cl3ver.
We don't have any issue open on the SketchUp plugin, neither in the platform and projects loads fine. So if you cannot open a specific project please contact with support@cl3ver.com and provide screenshots of the error/problem to better understand the issue.

Glad to report that I have made some progress this morning. If you look at my project today you will see that I have added some cameras, panels, and a couple of buttons. I am still confused on how others have included more that one SU scene in their projects. In particular, I see several people have both exterior and interior views of their models. In my particular case, I have a model that has scenes where only certain pieces of equipment in my car wash are visible. What I ultimately want to do is start with an "overview" of all of the equipment in the car wash with a panel that lists each piece of equipment. When the viewer clicks on the name of the equipment I want only that piece of equipment. In SU I have put each piece of equipment in the car wash on a separate layer. I then created a scene for each piece of equipment where it is the only thing visible in that scene (all other equipment has it's visibility turned off).
If I can figure out how to accomplish that, I think I am "off to the races". From what I have seen in other demos I think this should be possible.

Luca, I have downloaded and am using the FREE version. However, I am having problems getting my models to load correctly. I like what I see but cannot recommend purchasing it until I can build a presentation using one of my models. I tried emailing the support group but was told they do no provide support for the free version. I fully understand that but if I cannot get one of my models to load correctly, how do I proceed?
One of the other questions I have is about SketchUp scenes. Are they supported? If so, how do I get them to show up in the project?
Starting this afternoon, it "hangs" every time I try to load a model (including the sample models). I like what I see in the samples but cannot get to a good starting point.
BTW: I think the video in the webinar is provided me with more useful information that any of the other tutorials.
I really would like to make this work but the quote I have from the sales is $1,500 per year. That is a lot if I cannot even get a presentation going. The sales quote also says 48hr email support. If I am in a crunch to provide a presentation (which I anticipate happening more than once ), that is not very responsive. Have you given any thought to having a support team here in the U.S.? I think it might help your product sale.
OK - I pulled my head out of my back side and see how people are doing this. I have to learn to take better advantage of layers and hiding/showing them in different scenes.
However, I have not done any testing yet and was wondering what layers and scenes do to file sizes. I guess the real way for me to understand this better is to do some testing.
Someday I will learn to use the tool better and will not embarrass myself with stupid questions like this one.

I know this is a really dumbquestion but here goes:
I have been watching some tutorials of various products and keep wondering how people get interior views of buildings?
In particular, I have looked at some sample models on CL3VER (and some other sites) and see that people include interior views. In one case I even downloaded a sample from the 3D Warehouse that was used in a webinar. The person showed an exterior and interior view of the model. When I downloaded the model it just had one view. I tried hiding some walls but that did not seem to produce the same results.
How do you create an interior view of a building?

Here are the statements that reference the file name and location (this is the way the sample code that I downloaded was coded and the .dae file was located in a subdirectory of where I put the downloaded code)

I tried several variations of your suggestion including the file:// and the full path name on the hard drive to the file. Still nothing but a blank page.
It should be noted that I am not running server software but this is the only page that has failed to display. The page does come up but it is blank.
BTW: There is also a css style coded as canvas{
background: #fff url('voie-lactee.jpg') center no-repeat !important;
}
which does not display either. If I change canvas to body, the image background is displayed.
Again, any feedback that anyone can give me is greatly appreciated.
Thought I would post an update on my research relative to this topic:
There are some good products out there such as C3LEVER, Spread3D, Sketchfab and several others. However, they require me to have an internet connection. They require me to upload my models to their site and then view via the internet. I cannot always depend on an internet connection (especially at a show/conference or even at a customer side). I need to be able to view via the browser on my local machine.
In some threads, I have seen products like Hypercosim (and others) mentioned but when I tried to go their web site I get "page not found" or (in the specific case of Hypercosim they say they are no longer supporting or making their viewer available).
I have tried Light-Up and think it is good product for the right situation. I am not interesting in the lighting features (which look very good). I just want to be able to view my model in a browser environment. I also need for it to work on a touch screen with no keyboard intervention. I did get it to work but, as I have discussed with AdamB, I am not confident it is going to get me where I ultimately want to go.
I also found 3DBOP which is built on the CubicVR JavaScript. All of the online demos look like it would do exactly what I want to do. I downloaded their example zip file but have not had any success getting it to work. All I get is a blank page. I have tried various things like modifying the path name to my .dae files, changing a couple of styles, and even added some document.write statements in the JavaScript to see where it stops running (I do not get any type of error messages - just a blank page). I found some online references to CubicVR where others had a similar problem. When I tried the things other people reported, I still get the blank page.
One positive result was that I could see that I am not the only one who has the desire to view 3D models via my browser on a local machine without the internet connection.
If anyone has any additional suggestions or knows how to resolve the CubicVR issue, I would certainly be open to your suggestions. I have written some JavaScript in the past but do not consider myself a real coder in any sense.

I will be watching for this. My system also has several seconds of delay when I start it up. I have also been seeming some slight delays at other times lately.
Any idea when the new version might be released?
