I would like to model a structure in SU in the space between the exterior walls of a car park and a foot-walk stair case.
The car park and the stair case exist in reality.
I don't want to model the car-park and the stair case in detail, both have basically a cuboid geometry, so I was thinking the best way to represent them is by simply making two cuboids and stick pictures of there faces as texture on the cuboids.
The only problem is how can I produce halfway decent texture respectively images of the faces of the car park and and the foot-walk.
The problem is that I can not make a picture of all the faces with a single shot as the distance does not allow that always so I was thinking the solution has to be making several pictures and stitch them together to get the texture.
So now the question:
Is there some software-app out there which could do the job?
I am imaging something like to"wipe" with my smartphone camera in a right angle and same distance (as good as possible by hand) over the faces of the car park and the stair case, the smartphone makes continuous pictures (maybe by using video record) and some software is stitching the pictures automatically together.
The red faces are the faces I want to create texture from + open sides and bottom
