      Just select all of the edges by triple clicking with Select. Right click and choose Weld Edges.

      hi - I use JHS Powerbar for this purpose.
      Included are the two drop tools by R. Wilson which either drop objects onto the geometry below (no matter how shaped!) or onto any desired Z-level. (I hope I understood your question correctly 😉 and this helps you)
