Always place on terrain

Hi everyone! could some good soul help me? I'm always having a big trouble placing objects on scene, especially when the camera is far away...Is there a plugin or command lilke in lumion that you can press the command and place objects only in a surface or ground? I have this big scene to make, full of details and it is giving headaches when they cant be placed in the ground far from de camera without having to get very close to that sport and place it...it tooks a lot of time. WOuld be great to have a function like in Lumion always place on terrain shortcut command.

hi - I use JHS Powerbar for this purpose.
Included are the two drop tools by R. Wilson which either drop objects onto the geometry below (no matter how shaped!) or onto any desired Z-level. (I hope I understood your question correctly
