Hmm, that is tricky. That's the kind of thing you could fake if you were showing to someone who is not familiar with the room. But if its for the person who sleeps in the room every night, its a bit tougher to fake stuff. But, if you are putting in a large mirrored wall where they have none, they do not know exactly what the reflection should look like. So just getting close should work. to get "close" I think you could stand where the wardrobe is planned to go and take a picture looking back towards the base photo. You will probably need a really wide lens - 18mm or so is my guess. I could be wrong though. If you have various lens options, I'd play around with them. And you will probably have to do some image editing on that image as well. It might need to be blended with the backsides of objects you have rendered or something. In other words, this will be an imperfect science.

Hey Whaat, Really good advice there, I'll definitely try exit portals and using layers. Unfortunately I can't until work on monday though! Yep I'll stick at it, dying to achieve the results I see some people do..very cutting edge for archviz.. Any chance you can give me ideas of your personal render times? For interior, exterior etc.? Would be interesting for me Cheers Mike

I was browsing around turbosquid and found this page - it shows ballpark prices for 3D-related services. http://custom-3d.turbosquid.com/

All, Thanks for your input. I guess i should give LightUp another look while I continue to test & evaluate the value of Lumion & Twinmotion. The investment in these programs obviously means a shift to very powerful & expensive (3gb) GPU's. We've been concentrating on buying the fast CPU's for our programs (Revit, Indigo, etc.) (dual 6 cores) with avg. GPU's. A 1gb GPU on a dual 6 core CPU workstation doesn't work good enough with either Lumion & Twinmotion. It works..but not good enough. The other difference I have seen is that there seems to be no need to have network rendering on multiple CPU's (like for Vray or Indigo, etc) since all of the work is being done by the GPU on one computer. Maybe there will be network rendering of GPU's in the future...
