Thank you TIG. I didn't notice any highlights of the offending geometry. Is there any other tool that can find the offending intersected geometry? I'd like to know how it actually happened to being with, for future reference... Anyway, thanks again for concisely explaining how to fix the issue. p.s., I still get SketchUp Bug Splat if I put two of the same component in model. Does not happen if there are two different components, i.e., Main Rib Center & Outboard Center Rib. I sent a Bug Splat report, Crash Report #73801. No response yet...

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Even though you wouldn't have 'precise' control with arrow keys, it gets you into the ballpark faster and then enter a precise value, imho... guess I'm just used to PhotoShop, Word, methods of moving and modifying images... Here is my latest variation... may not be the cleanest drawing... but it prints fine [image: Dmtg_90deg-Corner-Core.jpg] Oh, yes, I unchecked all 'snapping'... everything, move, rotation, etc., still seems to jump and I use typed in value... Thanks again.

Maybe this will help. [image: gTQX_Screenshot-6_22_20166_24_26PM.png] A circle with a radius of the ring. [image: VDgT_Screenshot-6_22_20166_24_58PM.png] Extrude with Push/Pull to the required thickness. [image: 5CPu_Screenshot-6_22_20166_26_44PM.png] Use Offset first to delineate the radius of the post. Then draw a line for the flat. [image: h5bu_Screenshot-6_22_20166_27_32PM.png] Push/Pull to get rid of the waste. [image: r4jr_Screenshot-6_22_20166_27_56PM.png] Select the remainder of the offset edge and use Move/Copy to copy it to the opposite side. You could have used Offset on the other side as before but this is quick and easy, too. [image: MG0m_Screenshot-6_22_20166_28_24PM.png] Push/Pull the inner faces on both sides to make the post.

Based on what I've learned, (my personal printer is a Solidoodle...they are not that great and subsequently went bankrupt ) here are my recommendations in order from high to low budget. Ultimaker is very good, if not the best - and at $2499 the price matches its reputation. Zortrax M200 is also excellent, at $2000 it better be. Wanhao Duplicator I3 is the best value, with high reviews at only $399. For more reviews, Make magazine's shootout and 3D Hubs trend reports are very helpful.

Thank you again pilou... because it was caused by my use (miss-use) of VisuHole, I got it from your other post - http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=79%26amp;t=65214%26amp;p=598110#p598110 Thank you.

Excellent Plugin Tig! Thanks pilou for the direction... will follow. Now on to my next problem... Is it possible to move and resize a hole once created? I see in my top view that the front hole is ~1/64+- off the 3/8 on center that I want it (like the back hole). Or do I just have to redraw/punch new set? Strt-Solid-With Holes-TS position holes.skp I see a slight skew (from perpendicular to curved face) between front & back holes. Something I can, reluctantly, live with-but being a Virgo...

Also as far as scaling up, there is the DaveR component trick. By making your small part a component then select it, and use move/copy. Pull it off to the side well away from everything else. Then scaling it up 1K to 10K, do the modifications ~ tweaks you need to do while it is opened for editing. When your done just close it and delete it. Hit zoom extends and the original will be replicated but still in the smaller size you require. All the changes to the large copy are shared back because of the components attributes. ...Peace.....
