ok i just downloaded them and now im looking into the style builder..
Thanks heaps for these...
i just wish that i could come up with some, im not very good....
you could try doing a re-install, that would usually fix any sketchup problems....
thanks for that never new that was like that...
EDIT1: yes i did open it thankyou..
i already changed that but it scaled the rest of it also and the one i wanted changed didnt actually change, it actually changed the parent component....
Im trying to scale something to a specific height and it only works on percentages, is there a way to maybe scal to a specific measurement or is there a plugin to help or maybe a workaround...
thanks in advance...
has anybody noticed that in the first picture, on the blinds to the left there is a small questionmark??
lol i was looking at the fine detail and was like lol whats that!.....
here go hope this help you out...
this is my first little sketchup tutorial so please tell me what i did wrong in tutorial standards....
to put a hole in a curver wall you need to use csg modelling by making and object the same shape as what you want to cut, say a rectangle then you would make that 3d rectangle longer than you need it but only place in the wall where you want the cut and then just right click and use intersect model then delete the uneccesary geometry...
give me five minutes and ill put up an example...
10 hours is pretty big for a normal render...
looks great anyway almost perfect.
p.s. with terragen 2 it took me a week to render a simple image and some people can get up to a month of rendering and it also use multithreading soo i hope they kinda change that...
until then ima prolly gunna use vue for any of my landscape renderings...
just a question, what is a kindle?
is it an e-book reader.....
all changes to the plan have to be accepted by the person wanting the model built but he doesnt want anymore windows, he says that there may be too many but i suggested against removing the lounge windows...
i dont think a plugin that could do that would be very practical, the way i see it it would dimension every edge and there would be too many for most models....
maybe a plugin that would dimension selected edges....
ok im making a whole heap of kitchen cabinets and im making it with parts of components like side panel back panel rail and so forth, my problem is that sometimes when i try to make a new component with the same name it starts to screw up.
what i want to know is how the naming of components works so that i can better use them...
see i created a lft panel on one component and another on another component but they didnt cause an error, but when i did a vertical kick component the same size as the original it gave me an error, so does the geometry have anything to do with the heirarchy??
i went off a floorplan and im not going to change the plan because this is a job that im being paid to do...
you could try just replacing the curves with sketchup arcs
very good, the vray on actually looks real and if it wasnt on a 3d forum i would have believed it (i think)...
