RE: Play it Sam!
Great movie!
Always pictured it black.
Maybe because the movie was in black & white. Duh! -
RE: Antialiasing?
I would send file to Twilight. Don't sound right.
Haven't had any quality problems at all.
Have had slow renders with large files but never bad quality. -
RE: Render package options?
Twilight will give great results at very reasonable price. Learning curve can be applied to Thea!

RE: Lily and Maddison
Love dogs! More then people sometimes. Then there these kind of people.
Eagle QB making millions:
"Court documents show Vick personally participated in killing at least a half-dozen dogs. Some were hanged, suspended from a crossbar with a nylon rope.
Some were drowned, held upside down while their heads were forced into a bucket of water.
One was killed when Vick and one of his partners seized it by the legs and slammed it repeatedly to the ground, breaking its neck and back.
Other dogs at the "kennel" - an awfully nice name for what was really a charnel house for helpless animals - were reportedly electrocuted, shot or forced to breed until their bodies just gave out.
According to a report released by U.S. Department of Agriculture officials who were part of the investigation,
on a couple of occasions Vick and his pals threw untrained family pets into the pit with savage fighters.
Pet dogs that apparently belonged to his own family: Vick "thought...

RE: [V-ray] My video rendering
Nice!
I read that if the glass is pyrex and the liquid is like canola oil (Could be another oil),
there is no refraction. -
RE: Simple country barn
That's right, it's interactive.
That has to help! Nice render! -
RE: Simple country barn
Solo,
Do you have problems with precise alignment with the proxy. Do you find yourself going back & forth after quick renders to correct?
As example: A tree or bush placement next to another item.
Or are proxy best for general palcement? -
RE: Trentbrooke Cottage
Wow! What a great mood to the whole scene.
That roof is great.
Is this a real location or your own creation? -

Math Then & Now
FiftyYears of Math 1959-2009(in the USA )
Last week I purchased a burger at Burger King for $1.58. The counter girl took my $ 2 and I was digging for my change when I pulled 8 cents from my pocket and gave it to her. She stood there, holding the nickel and 3 pennies, while looking at the screen on her register. I sensed her discomfort and tried to tell her to just give me two quarters , but she hailed the manager for help. While he tried to explain the transaction to her, she stood there and cried. Why do I tell you this?Because of the evolution in teaching math since the 1950s:
- Teaching Math In 1950s
A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price. What is his profit ?
- Teaching Math In 1960s
A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price, or $80. What is his profit?
- Teaching Math In 1970s
A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80. Did he make a profit?
- Teaching Math In 1980s
A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80 and his profit is $20. Your assignment: Underline the number 20.
- Teaching Math In 1990s
A logger cuts down a beautiful forest because he is selfish and inconsiderate and cares nothing for the habitat of animals or the preservation of our woodlands. He does this so he can make a profit of $20. What do you think of this way of making a living? Topic for class participation after answering the question: How did the birds and squirrels feel as the logger cut down their homes? (There are no wrong answers, and if you feel like crying, it's ok.)

Warmers embrace the Dan Rather logic.
The documents are fake & the data has been manipulated ,
but the story is true!
