It is simply to do with the fact your are in the US and the server is in Germany. If there is lots of US visitors then you may experience slow speeds. In the EU it is zippy. We are exploring CDN or mirroring for the US but this cost $$$ per month. If more US members can confirm Joe's speed tests then we will seriously look at it. But so far the amount of complaints is on 1 hand. Run a poll, hold a survey...I really want our US visitors to enjoy the site as much as possible but we need more feedback

If you make changes that you want to undo, you can import the backup copy. 1.Open the Registry Editor by clicking the Start button , typing regedit into the search box, and then pressing Enter.‌ If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. 2.Locate and click the key or subkey that you want to back up (in this case HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control). 3.Click the File menu, and then click Export. 4.In the Save in box, select the location where you want to save the backup copy to, and then type a name for the backup file in the File name box. 5.Click Save. Heh, I checked my Tools folder, but it never occurred to me that someone would not look in the Tools folder too.

as far as i know revit does not read sketchup textures or skm. files but you can add textures to revit using jpg. png. and bmp. You simply go to your materials and under the render appearance tab load a new image file into the program.
