Yeah I'm tired of buying chairs to try out, what I do now is lean way back so the weight's off of my butt, and prop my feet up on my old computer that I put under the desk. It's leaning forward to see the screen better that messes up the old back.
Folks! I sell Plans for many of my designs and also do custom designs like this large Torii for a customer in Northern California, living in a rural area. Because it’s rural there must be access for fire trucks and water tankers, so I designed this one to allow them to pass under the Torii.

Yeah work doesn't strain my back it's the darn sitting that does it in! I haven't gone to my chiropractor in well over a year, but finally have appointments with him again! Yes when I'm not working in the shop or jobsite I do nice walks, good for the mind as well as the old body!
I notice your hummer avatar. Check this out! This hummer flew in to my shop and died well over a year ago and it's still up there, sort of like a protective spirit I like to think. Looks like he was ready to swoop out the door but only his spirit made it out.

Folks, this is getting serious and I need some advice! I can only sit for maybe 5-10 minutes then need to get up and hobble around.
I've tried a few different chairs over the years but none of them eliminate the problem.
This chair I'm using now, it fells like I have good lumbar support, so can't put a lumbar support pad in that space.
what suggestions might you have to help with this? Is there a specific type or brand of chair that's helped you?

How are those curved screens on the eyes?
when I went to Win 10 I got a larger monitor and it really messed up my SUp resolution export settings, I think it's called. In SUp I have to make the text way oversized so it looks right in the exported images. Like this-

do I need t change my screen resolution, or some setting in SUp?
will this get worse using a larger monitor?
I'd like to get a larger monitor for my PC, then use the one I have now as a second monitor if I can figure out how to hook up the second one. My current monitor is about 22" diagonally.
What are the monitor qualities I should be looking for? Can anyone recommend a certain brand?
yeah I went online and found a viewer pretty quickly.
I've never even opened layout, I just used an online dxf viewer.
Long before layout I worked out a way of creating plans that works for me so I've never used layout.
I'm just wondering as every version up to 2015 which I used before this 2021, had that 2nd little window I had to click. I don't have a dxf viewer on this win 10 so can't check these dxf exports.
Does 2021 not have that popup mssg you have to click, after Export, about audit report / something?
