RE: Do we have a JOKE THREAD here? (Part 3)
A linguistics professor was lecturing to his English class one day.
"In English," he said, "a double negative forms a positive. In some
languages, though, such as Russian, a double negative is still a negative.
"However, there is no language wherein a double positive can form a
negative."A voice from the back of the room piped up, "Yeah, right."

New Azumaya
Here's my latest Azumaya Design, a 20' x 30'.
I designed it for a residence down in Fiji

Thanks Craig, a few of those might come in handy!

Martial Artists?
hi Folks
Does anyone have any 3d (or even 2D) figures of martial artists? I'm working on a dojo project and they sure would be nice.
here are three that I picked up a few years ago, including dojo dawg I forget who made these originally.
One more 3D figure in a gi would be perfect.

RE: Google Image Search
OK, here are the things Google looks for in an Image Search.
Image File Name
ALT Text of Image
Text Surrounding the Image
Page Title and other Web Page FactorsSo it looks like about the only improvement I can make is to add some text near the images.
There is a GoogleBot that crawls for images but it's very slow and can take up to a year to find your images.

RE: Google Image Search
Thanks Shrieb, that was alot of fun to build! We used a plastic a plastic resin glue from Dap http://www.dap.com/product_details.aspx?product_id=42 you can see us laminating it here
http://woodsshop.com/MoonGate/HowtoBuildaMoonGate.htmOh I know about posting links to pages I like to post then on Google Groups, checkout this Google Search using the words Moon Gate Kit http://tinyurl.com/yqcjet
what I'm trying to find out though is how to better my Image Search results.

RE: Google Image Search
Oh, my Preferences are set not to filter Gaeius. I'm wondering how to SEO my images to get them found easier. I don't want to be on page three!
I vaguely remember hearing about something else you could do to your images like embed something ..

Google Image Search
Hi folks, hoping to get some advice on how to get my images found on a G Image search.
Take my Moon Gate Page for example http://woodsshop.com/MoonGate/Moon_Gate.htm I have the page pretty well optimized- good page title, good meta description, with keywords as text on the page. Then I have all the images named well, with good alt tags to them, but if you do a G search for either moon gate or moongate like this http://tinyurl.com/2zx3ew , I'm not even on the first 10 pages.
This page has been up for at least 8 months now too. Sure would appreciate any advice on getting my images found.

RE: Editing Dimensions
Geeze agraz, about everything I know about SUp (and computers!) I learned on the old forum.
I'll try and post more when I realize they might be useful.
Darn, not getting notifications from this new forum. Have my preferences set to receive them too ..

Editing Dimensions
hi folks!
You know how, when using the Dimension Tool, you can't write a line then use the enter key to start a new line?
Well this is a neat trick I learned to allow you to do this. I use it quite often when making Plans.
Type your first line, then type \n, followed by the next line. When you finish editing it you'll see two lines of text. Go in and Edit one of the lines in this skippy and you'll see what I did.
You can also put the \n in front of a line to drop the line down. I learned this on the original @Last forum. I hope alot of you didn't know this
