RE: Export all textures in model to one image file?
+1 for JQL on this !

RE: Inifinite Reflexion on vray ?
It's a material feature, not a global feature.
In the material editor, in the "Options" tab of your mirror material, change the "Refraction Max Depth" to a higher value.But you won't be able to go to infinity. Also, a value too high will probably crash Sketchup.

The problem is we need to do some workaround because SketchUp doesn't have an undo on scene operation.
I feel you, that's a big issue

RE: Hows Vray for SU compared to Vray for 3ds max?
@caecarvalho said:
Will be possible to create a library with OBJ or 3ds models to use with it?
I have no plan for this right now. Although, it will have a library system supporting SKP models, and therefore proxies for rendering engines.
@caecarvalho said:
What about the forest color? Is it possible to implement something like that? (A map that you put inside the diffuse slot to create color variations in the texture per object)
No forest color like in forest pack, but at some point I will add the ability to randomly assign materials to the scattered objects. Something like forest color would have to happen on the render engine's part, on which I have no control.
@caecarvalho said:
The representation of the forest objects will be with colored point clouds as well? Is it even possible in SU?
I think it's possible, I will definitly try to do it in the future. But for the first public release, it will only be simple representation (bouding boxes and such)

If you need a beta tester!!
I'll PM you.
Sneak peak from the latest alpha update: (All the grass is generated only at render time, there is only the white plane in Sketchup)

RE: Displacement Problem
You are looking for the "shift" input box. Put a negative value in there, it should do the trick.

RE: How reduce rendering time
Great course on the subject : http://masteringcgi.com.au/course/mastering-vray/
(For Vray 3Dsmax, but everything applies to Vray Sketchup) -
RE: [Plugin Library] LibFredo6 - v15.4d - 14 Aug 25
I still get this :

Same as before, but now the "pro" features changed, the free version is not limiting the editor's features anymore, which is a big step.

Until you use our software I think it will be hard for you to understand what we have done and it will be hard for you to know where we are going with this, time will tell. There was a trial version available for free yet we found we were dealing with people trying to crack it. This I can not allow, it is stealing! So for you honest guys, I apologise.
You either have to accept that it will be cracked someday and offer a trial version for people to understand the whole possibilities, or get way better at communicating and justify why PlusSpec is worth $1000/year.
I think right now you are losing customers simply because they can't understand the range of your software. -
RE: [REQ] SU scatter
For now it works with Vray and Thea. I will work with other render engines developpers to make it work with their product. But for now I can't guaranty anything behond Vray and Thea.
What engine would you like to use with Skatter? -
RE: PlusSpec
Interesting read on Corona's "Fair SaaS" subscription model.
https://corona-renderer.com/blog/prices-release-date/
https://corona-renderer.com/blog/discussion-about-prices-licence-politics-ii/I think subscription can be a good idea, if it's fair with the user. (Monthly based, cancel anytime, etc) But to me, PlusSpec is just way too exepensive.

RE: SKUI β A GUI Framework for SketchUp
You could even ship standard SU buttons, like (+), (-), etc.

RE: [REQ] SU scatter
Very much alive, but not yet ready for public release.
It'll come! -

I just came accross an issue you guys should know about (if you don't already) : We can't pass more than 15 arguments in a single function from ruby to C++.
You actually hit that limit?
Well...
I try to limit the back-and-forth between ruby and C++, so I pass all the information in one go, and treat everything in C++.

mmm maybe so, advanced camera tools is a ruby script though.
unfortunately it's flipping scrambledIt's not specific to the Advanced Camera Tools. You can set the camera's aspect ratio yourself, and you'll get the same gray bars on the sides.
