that reply had an actual meaning wrapped in a joke package.. does it need further explanation?

Pete, i too get quite frustrated that all the potentially interesting stuff gets drowned in a wave of conspiracy rubbish.
what exactly is the 'conspiracy rubbish' you and pete are talking about?

The scene opens in a cheap motel.
Laying together side by side in bed are a chicken and an egg.
The chicken rolls over, lites a smoke and says.....
"Well I guess that answers that question, doesn't it."hmm.. i guess they now know the answer.. i still don't know which one came first..

RE: Arc joining 2 lines
while searching for k-tools, i came across 2Dfillet (fillet.rb)
that's exactly what i wanted
[edit] oh, and TIG.. are you talking about 1001bit tools instead of k-tools?

RE: Arc joining 2 lines
yeah, i'd use this one for sure..
along with it, i'd really like to be able to enter a radius and it would round out the corner..
basically like the fit fillet/bevel tool in bonzai. -

I'm just wondering, what's going on with the US,
who cares.. we have so much drugs, alcohol, and TV combined with an awful education system that we're way too dumb & numb to give a shit..

Thomas,
Couldn't you simply create your arc(s) tangent to the "parent" edges, adjust their radii and finally move to the intersection/vertex.
It's just one step extra, the move operation.See attached file.
that's fine but you know too much about the arc already... see how many extra steps it will take to draw this radius correctly: (hey, cool.. a contest.. fastest one wins
no math, only sketchup -- the arc is tangent to the bottom edge)
[if the arc tool would work as thomthom wants, it would be possible in one move]

two guys walk into a bar..
you'd think one of them would've seen it...

True,.. maybe some way to encourage the inference?
yeah, it'd be cool if it worked in a similar manner as the perpendicular inference.. hover over the line for a sec so sketchup has a clue as to what your trying to do.

If you draw an arc inside a square, from its diagonal corners, you will not have tangent inference. It's very annoying, indeed.
i too wish the inferencing with arcs was better..
in the case of the above (arc inside a square), i'd use the Arc: Center & 2 points ruby. that's pretty much become my main arc tool and i've assigned β§A as its shortcut.. it works well as long as you know the radius or centerpoint of your arc.

RE: Safari Beta Problem
i use safari 4 as well but i haven't encountered the problem..
occasionally, i'll try to download a ruby and instead of it downloading as a .rb file, the actual script's text will display in my browser ... (happens with rubies from crai.archi)
when that happens, i rightclick and choose "save linked file to xxxxxxxx" .. x being your download location.. -
RE: Possibly the funniest site I've ever found
that stuff is funny because of the language barrier.. it's not like the people making the signs are automatically stupid..
these people are automatically stupid:
