      Thanks irwan, 8MB not 12MB?

Also, do you have a choice of GTX cards?

      cheers,

actually, i don't have much to upgrade my pc. you can try to search for latest GTX available on the net with Google perhaps.

RAM is not that expensive compared with other components. if you'd like to have 12 GB, why not?
it's just a "place" to load data to be accessed and processed randomly at fast speed.
if you were talking about RAM, that might be in GigaBytes (GB) not MegaBytes (MB).
      What's A Byte
we can always use google to search for those kind of info.
how about that "PC It Yourself"? didn't find anything there?

Try house builder by Didier Bur. Great plugin http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?t=1518 also a metric ver. it might have a mysterious beep when you use it - TIG posted a thread about how to get rid of it. you can edit walls for doors and windows. you might find this useful

      http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=1705

i noticed that beep too. and sometimes selection tool cannot select anything afterward.
i have the metric HouseBuilder, but not installed at the moment. since i have to restart sketchup quite often for that beep and locking selection tool. used it only to make roof rafter drawing.
where can i find TIG's post on that matter?
      thank you.

      hi utiler,

I work on some pretty large files and do render so it makes sense to not hold back.
      Any suggestions?

i think if i have the budget and not to hold back, that i7 3.4Ghz with Hyper thread is good.
with 8 GB of RAM. since the main performance factor is the processor itself.
as you said "not to hold back" i would go probably for something like those GTX.

the first one. if it comes with a parasol and someone else sitting on the next chair

Agreed except... why sitting on the next chair? If you mean what I mean then 3,4 look more comfortable. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

๐Ÿ˜† i knew what she meant to draw or design was really a deckchair. and that obviously an exterior furniture. that's why i prefer the first one. because it makes sense more to be an ext furniture.
since it's an exterior furniture, climate and sun ray might come into consideration. ultraviolet for instance. in higher degrees of sun like near mid day or noon, might be better to have something as a partial cover from the sun. there's where the parasol may come.
well, "someone else sitting on the next chair" was merely an intermezzo. since it might be good to spend some time just the two of, looking at scenery around. under the same parasol ๐Ÿ˜‰

as a theist, Jeff. i'm not really worried for those others who knows and learn what the religion taught them to do or be.
      just to let you know, here's a quote that might count for theist about how they should live their life as children of Adam;

He did live in the 6-7th century right? By then Christianity had spread quite a bit so he may have been influenced indirectly even before unintentially meeting Christians and Jews. No man is/was an island even then.

actually yes. that's why i told you that he did met a nashara or masihi (both means follower of Isa/Jesus) elder.
he went to meet the nashara elder who was also his wife's uncle, simply because his wife worried about her husband anxiousness during early time of revelation. she knows that her blind uncle is a nashara and already have memorise the injil (not those ones which written and came later).
he didn't even know that the blind elder was a nashara. who knows and memorise the injil.
he didn't learn anything more than what the elder told him. that he is a prophet, a messenger with revelation. since the old man died not long after.

so, that was the first time he knows that there are other people like him with the same burden. the first time that he knows that there were other revelation just like what he got. actually, that was indeed the first time he knows that what he got were "revelation".
