      Hi there...
One of the reason I am always here in SCF is to see your continuous masterpiece, for my inspiration πŸ€“

      My comment would be...

I think a ladybug should be more red than black. About 2/3 are red and the other 1/3 are black in terms of body color proportion. Imagine that the windshield is red, but then you will have a ladybug that fly backwards. πŸ˜†
Two large black spots on each side of a ladybug wing that may be represent by turn signal lights, or anything might add more "ladybug looks" into the model. Side mirror more to the front wlll look like the ladybug antennas.

Cheers Hussel for the praise, lol, i dont want to make it look entirely like a ladybug/ladybird, i just wanted to give it a shape that resembles one, also iv a logo for the side im working on right now which is a ladybug on a spot, if i made it look too like a ladybug im sure it wold take away from the design, after all no one wants a car with black dots all around it, πŸ˜†

    • CONCEPT_CAR_LADYBUG_REVISITED

After spending a day catching ladybirds/ladybugs with my 3yr old son Kyle in a cleaned out jamjar i couldnt get over the excitement my son had with this activity, he became obsessed with ladybugs, and its an activity he wants to do again and again.

We where walking thu the town and a car passed us with a ladybug graphic on the side, Kyle automaticly said "Daddy look a Ladybird car", i taught nothing of it but when trying to thnk of a model to create in SU i taught back to when my son said that and ladybird car became an idea from there.

So i set out to create a concept car with the inspiration of my sons Ladybird car in mind, Im not sure where im going with this concept from here to be honest, will i make it a 3 wheeler, 6 wheeler to resemble the 6 legs a bug has or the 4 wheels we have on the average car, maybe a snow mobile with a single track to the rear, i could even make it a flying car concept of the future, we will just have to wait and see, few more needs to be added for example lights, engine, wheels if any depending on weather i make it a flying concept, and of course the interior, has to be done, heres what i have so far, introducing.............The Ladybug..........A father and son inspiration πŸ˜„

      Thank you.
Where? On SketchUp artists? If yes, it's an old one using blender 2.49b. Some things have changed, but the basic principles exist.

No I read everything here on scf, great read and opened my eyes to more possibilities, if you have up to date workflow I would like to hear it πŸ‘

Rodger this is the second time you mentioned this to me, ok I get it, you can't see my images but I can on my 2laptops, iPhone, and iPad, others can see it with their devices, is your screen dusty maybe? If not try increasing the brightness of your screen πŸ˜„

You're missing a top view to complete the shape. I just added an arc at the centre to allow some lofting to occur.

I feel like a dope now, lol, the basics of having a plan, elevation and end view and I forgot to even use a plan view, D'oh 😳

I really like the simplicity of your model, not much in it but very effective, I like that, especially the wiring on the front and side, would love to see more of your wirk

From this ignoramus, who has not studied this at all, how can you tell it is a model rather than a 'photoshopped' photo (not to imply that ufuk would try to put one over on us, even in jest-test)?

Photoshopped or not it's still a very good visual, I like it as do others πŸ˜„

U may want to view this trend, it is possible but very time consuming, I know this because I created an animation in 3D but I dare not do it again as the time and effort that had to go into it just to get a 30sec clip was crazy, if there were a plugin designed to speed up the process it would prove a very useful tool πŸ˜„
