I agree about the back wall material's.
My computer in an 3years old Quad core 2.66ghz with 3go ram and Nvidia Geforce 8500GT...(I think that now we can get much better... 😉

Ok, here is a new render with some spotlight on (not eco-friendly... 💚 )
I used the medium preset as i do not have time today, 1 hour rendering and 2 minutes on PS and ACDsee Pro.

I have just printing on a Photo paper this render, and it really look like a Photography 😄

Medium Preset for me is enough good, 1 hour rendering, and PP it is perfect for my clients and quick.

no solids in SU, mesh based faces only, better use a 3D NURBS surface and volume modeler instead.

Yes It's a quick NPR
First I render my model with Twilight, I use only the water material and the glass material of twilght, And I setup a Spherical sky, shadow at 10. I don't edit any texture (no bump, no reflection.)
I use a gray scale image from SU, I choose multiply layer on gimp or photoshop and transparency at 25%.

I think that the image rendered and the shadow with Twilight even in small setting have a good quality.

As I said before Fymoro you did excellent job. The last render you did is much stronger in terms of composition and shadows are much nicer.
My intervention was more to do with honing of the render and it was very small intervention to that extent.

Nice image. Only a little thing: the bridge is floating. In semiacoustic guitars, this kind of bridge has to be fixed to the bottom of the body. 😉

Wow, one of the most dramatic differences between Sketchup input and render output I've ever seen! It reminds me of comparing screenshots from an Atari to a PS3.
