[REQ] Disable Inferencing.
when im tracing on pictures in sketchup to use as logos or banners i have to zoom in alot to get the line to not snap to the red or green axis, and then when im done i zoom out and see the shape is wonky in some areas as somewhere along the way i had snapped to the blue axis without knowing it... any way to turn off inferencing?
has it been done before? i have a vague memory of this, cant remember if it was someone asking or a plugin that had been posted

RE: [Plugin] Components onto Faces v1.2.0 UPDATE May 23, 2013
thank you, very handy script!! and good idea for grouping your scripts into one subfolder, everyone should do that, soon the plug-ins menu will be a list of ruby script writers names.
question: is there another 3d with more plug-ins than sketchup?

RE: English Exterior :::
good question: That was thomthoms blackout plugin, ran black out, it makes everything black, removing all textures and transparencies which vray recognizes, make fence texture white, then in ur settings diasable all reflection, maps and GI, render, and only render diffuse, take about 10 seconds, even quicker if u have the visopt set up that disables all that. i did that for the fence and brick work and glass, so u can control whatever u want to see in there.

RE: English Exterior :::
thank you DzineTech, i agree on all points, however i dont think downpipes are too important unless its an actually a feature of the design, photo on the side was taken by the client on an overcast day
than again

RE: Ruby access to photo match image?
sorry hope im not hijacking but this has been bugging me about photomatch, you can't match a photo that has been corrected to 2 point perspective, and if u can't control the photo through the API can u control the guiding lines? like is the any way to lock the blue axis in a vertical possition to force it into 2 point?

RE: [Plugin] Zorro2 (beta)
hey thanx for this, really speeds up the process of making a roof with hard modeled roof tiles the only suggestion i could make is that it explodes and groups everything it cuts through (at least in the case of similar components), because at present it is making separate unique components out of the indidual components it cuts through, increaseing the amount of components intances dramatically, and slowing down the drawing.
i then have to go in select all similar components, invert selection, group those, explode this groups contents and purge unused components, to get my component instances from 400 back to 1.
any thoughts

RE: [Plugin] Three Line Tools (Updated March 9th, 2009)
thanx chris, this pluggin really helps in working with land surveyor spot heights and quickly translating them to height.

RE: [Plugin] Round Edge - v1.0 (by Bezier)
Funny(and sad) that Sketchup on version 7 needs to catchup with a beta release... interestingly bonzai 3d shares a render engine with modo (assuming that it has the same render engine as FormZ)

RE: (TRICK) To re-enable skp file preview
very handy thanx, my pc at work just started doing that the other day

RE: MTN Building - Vray
hoesit boet! i think theres nothing wrong with ur people they are well inserted, there could even be a touch more, i can see some out of scale beach sand in the backdrop, i would drop it a bit so theres only a green belt, and match the contrast of the background to that of the render, the smaller birds are ok but the bigger ones give the image away, and as always 2 point perspective
but i like em, good job!
ps the building could be a bit warmer in colour considering the type of pre-sunset image u have in the background.
