Why are there missing controls in the Dialog Box?

Sample 1 shows a 3d model with textures & materials while in Sample 2, when I inserted a matched photo, only some line edges are shown with my SU v8. I opened the same file using another computer with SU v6, it shows normal with all the materials being shown properly. Has anybody here have encountered same problem as mine? Is it OS problem or SU settings or Vcard problem?

This can happen if you don't have FULL security permissions to the Plugins folder and its contents etc...

Hi again TIG,

I don't quite understand by compatibility files, though there are a few folders there but most are working properly except for 1 or 2.
I have no problem I think with permission since nobody else uses the pc and I believe since I owned it, I am the Administrator of the PC.
Should I worry whats inside my Compatibility Files?

As I understand it you should have the following files/folders in your Plugins folder, mimicking the files/folders that arrive in the .zip file...[attachment=2:2oakbtin]Plugins folder level.PNG[/attachment:2oakbtin][attachment=1:2oakbtin]Plugins+ProfileBuilder folder level.PNG[/attachment:2oakbtin][attachment=0:2oakbtin]Plugins+ProfileBuilder+Libraries folder level.PNG[/attachment:2oakbtin] If you have additional .plb files these should go into the 'Libraries' subfolder.

Ok, already downloaded the latest SU. Unfortunately still the same issue.

Hello,

I don't believe there are any conflicts with those plugins. I have heard of the issue you are having before. It might be due to your Internet and Javascript settings. Profile Builder uses web dialogs which use javascript.

If you are using Windows, open Internet Explorer and try going to Tools->Internet Options->Advanced->Reset Internet Explorer Settings.

I've downloaded the plugin, saw the icon, have a dialog box but when I click on the drop down it's empty, click the buttons in the Profile Builder dialog box with no response.
Unload I think possible plug-ins that might create some conflicts like the housebuilder and building structure tool but to no avail.
Any idea would be welcome.

Hi,

Tried to make this plug-in work but I really can't.
I already reinstalled my SUPro 8.0.3117 to scratch, installed only SUBIM as plugin but still no luck.
Running in Win7 64bit.
I have SketchUpBIM.rbs and subfolder SketchUpBIM in my Plug-in Folder.
Also did Preferences/Extensions but didn't find any SketchUpBIM there... I only have: Ruby Script Examples, Ocean Modeling, Utilities Tools, Dynamic Components, Sandbox Tools, Solar North Toolbar, Photo Textures as choices.
I just dunno what else to do now.

I have this problem, I have already searched here in the site, I just don't understand how to enter these coordinates N 68d01' E at 153.66 meters? I just don't like to use my acad then import it to SU. If only I can do it in SU alone. I dont need the height to input the coordinates. Thanks in advance guys! .

So it is not a bug actually but a feature change - maybe due to user input about changed/altered title blocks. I just wandered, I installed 7.1 and opened LO then choosed a certain template with a titleblock ready, then I can't edit the text on the template but I can with my previous version of LO. Is this also happening with you guys or is it just me? Thanks!
