Well, I know there one was a plugin called TruOffset, which - I think as the only one - respected holes in faces and was also able to offset them. But it's lost in space, and I couldn't find it anywhere these days.
I am referring to this thread:
https://forums.sketchup.com/t/hole-aware-offset/83561
It must have been removed from the Extension Warehouse. I saw it there a few years ago. Maybe it can be found somewhere.

Actually, I'm now quite sure that this "something specific in my environment" is my system username starting with capital "U" letter, which causes an issue of Ruby interpreter. Here you can read more from smarter people than me:
SketchUp keeps crashing when installing plugins
Hello, I recently reinstalled the newest version of SketchUp and started installing my dozens of plugins from scratch. Thatβs what I was advised to do. I found time to manually install them one by one instead of just β¦

RE: [Plugin][$] RoundCorner - v3.4a - 31 Mar 24
Yes, I had the latest LibFredo installed first.
And indeed, my system username is "User". I don't know about any issue related to that, but maybe there is one. -
RE: [Plugin][$] RoundCorner - v3.4a - 31 Mar 24
Hello,
In SketchUp 2021 I got this error after installing Round Corner (see the attached screenshot).
The plugin seems to be working just fine, despite the error.
I just thought you might want to know about it. I was actually advised to report it to you anyway.

RE: [Plugin] PickIt
Hello,
After years of using this plugin flawlessly, today I have a problem with it. It works perfectly fine with SU 2021, but in SU 2020 it just disappeared from my Tools menu. I was doing some plugin cleanup and I disabled and threw away some of them, but PickIt is installed and enabled, and I don't think it has any dependencies that I could have carelessly removed. I tried reinstalling it, but it didn't help. I also cannot find PickIt on the Shortcuts (Preferences) list.
What could have gone wrong?I tried selecting and deselecting stuff inside and outside groups, but it doesn't change anything either.

RE: [Plugin] InfinitePanOrbit [Now on OSX]
Hello,
Is it possible to paste the RBZ installer file here, as an attachment to a post?
For some reason, I cannot download it from the Plugin Store. Getting various errors from my browser. -
RE: [Plugin][$] S4u_Frame
Ok, I'll try this.
And how long does the trial period last? -
RE: [Plugin][$] S4u_Frame
And one more question - when I make frames by selecting only faces, it nicely closes the angles. But if I have a more complex profile (that contains loose edges too) and select both faces and edges, then create the framing, it won't close gaps that appear where two lines meet.
Can it be fixed?See the image:

Just wanted to point out, there's a modified version of V1.1 that works up to Sketchup 2021.
Wow, that's absolutely awesome!
Thank you a hundred times! -
RE: [Plugin] Selection Toys
"Select (only)/ deselect stray edges" would be very useful too!
The definition of a stray edge would be the same as in Clean Up tools. -
RE: [Plugin] s4u_Select
Hi,
Could you please add "select parallel edges" feature? It would be useful sooo often.
What was changed in the last - 4.1.1 version? I noticed no changes from 4.1.0.
Maybe it's just compatibility release.
May I kindly ask you to update the changelog? It's easier for a user to keep track of changes when new versions are described.
Thank you -
RE: [Plugin] [$] s4u LineToFace
Hi,
How long does the trial period last?
I'm considering a purchase, even though it's a bit expensive for such a small (yet very useful!) tool, because I had issues with other "line extrusion" plugins. -
RE: [Plugin] WireTool (Catenary) (1.4.1) β updated 06.03.2013
Hi,
I'm confused.
I can see this plugin had an update recently [Version Updated: 2021-04-12 09:26:24]
but it's been version 1.4.1 since 2013. Why was it updated now while it's still the same version and no changes were introduced? -
RE: SketchUcation site often unresponsive
Thank you, TIG.
At the moment it works smoothly. But chances are high that tomorrow it will slow down again. -
SketchUcation site often unresponsive
Hi,
This probably isn't the proper section for this post, so forgive me but I couldn't find any better. Maybe this post can be moved.
Am I the only one with such a problem?
SketchUcation page is very often unresponsive when I try to open it. Sometimes it will load and load endlessly in my browser and not open or will open very slowly. I haven't had such an issue with pretty much any other page (ok, Facebook maybe sometimes).
Tested on Firefox and Opera with the same outcome, so I don't think it's the browser issue. Also, my AdBlock is always turned off for SketchUcation.
I don't know if it has to deal with the servers. If so, then maybe there's a need of hosting improvement.
I use, read, post on SketchUcation daily, so it's pretty distracting.
Now I was hardly able to make this post.
Has anyone experienced this issue too? -
RE: [Plugin] FredoTools::ThruPaint - v1.3a - 20 Oct 16
Hi,
I think it would be cool to have one more selection option - all selected groups. With it we could paint all selected groups through with a single click (even if they had materials applied to faces), possibly without changing their UVs.
What do you think about this idea? -
RE: [Plugin] FredoTools::ColorFlatMode - v1.0a - 18 Nov 19
I think it's worth pointing out in the plugin description that since it uses sun for shading, it has a negative impact on SketchUp's performance.
While it shouldn't be problematic with small models, the heavy ones will lag badly.
But anyway, this setup can often be really helpful so thank you -
RE: [Plugin][$] Vertex Tools
Hi,
I'd like to say something more about vertex bevel here (I hope you don't have enough of me yet ).
I was able to reproduce the bug I once had when bevelling vertices of a face and I noticed two undesired things happening:- After selecting all verts of the Y letter and bevelling them a little the face gets removed, leaving only the edges. That I find a bug.
- Bevel widths are uneven and these bevel are unsymmetrical. I guess that's because bevel values here are not absolute but relative to the length of bevelled edges. This surely makes sense, but it would also be very nice having another option for symmetrical bevels with absolute offset. Perhaps this could be performed by simply adding a unit following a typed value, just like in native SketchUp. For example, type "0.1m" instead of "0.1" in the VDB to get the absolute value.
