Hi Guys
I have a model downloaded from the WH and it is drawn using the imperial system(feet and inches) - is there a way I can quickly convert it to metric. I have opened the preferences option in the window menu but it is only changing templates and doesnt change the measurements in the model. Cant find any reference to this in past posts. Thanks

I get the same problems when i render with twilight - its me not the render engine! I just need to keep practicing, looking in the forums and practicing some more to get it right. Lighting is so critical in rendering and material choices affect lighting so much that you have to marry the two together very carefully to get the perfect image. I tend to start off at very low levels of lighting and slowly increase the strength to a level where I am happy to show a client. Keep going you will get there in the end.
I dropped mine on my second day of having it and I cracked the screen. No issues for several weeks then the dreaded black out spread started and eventually took over half my screen.
I wouldnt have it without the case now.
Very nice model and great use of Unity. Navigation was a bit tricky for me - couldnt understand the instructions! Worked eventually and enjoyed the tour.
That fishing guy has to be the stupidest presenter witht he stupidest crew I have ever seen - please tell me it is a set up - I can't believe they have a collection of dumb asses that bad in the one show?
He would win the Darwin award for sure.
PS @Boo - your pics arent showing!
Great work Stefanq. Love the last one - I am getting a few requests to do this style of built in now. The Italian systems being sold in Ireland are hugely expensive and I feel there is a niche for a more modest price bracket using quality materials.

Forgive my complete ineptness at this but I just dragged the "button" onto my google toolbar and then went to youtube and picked a random video. Hit your "button - SCFtube" and nothing happened. What am I doing wrong - rest assured it is me!!
Mike - every forum member in Ireland will now be descending on your house looking to use your corner cubby and drinking yer tae - ah ye will, ye will, ye will!!!!
P.S. Have you not finished it yet?!
Remember the post when the question was asked " What is art?" This finally proves that some of it really is shit!
Absolutely stunning image - you have captured a beautiful scene in this last one - others were superb too!!
Your SU modelling and rendering are way better than mine and I dont see myself as being that good - I try to do the best I can - if I'm not satisfied with the quality I rip it out and do it again - my motto is " If its not good enough for my own house - it is not good enough for any house!" It works !
Cheers Rocky. Its praise indeed coming from you. BTW how did your project finish up - havent seen any images for quite some time! You must be busy doing instead of drawing!!
Not if you dont regard flooding and homelessness as serious problems!!!
Roger
I only noticed it after you pointed it out. It must be a lens issue as you pointed out. It is certainly not a render - I am no where near that level - think big crayons in a fist - style drawings or even better cave drawings - thats more my level!!!
Nice work Tim. I could never be bothered to show the kreg jig holes in my projects - now I have no excuse. Thankyou.

Here's a render from me. twilight. not really happy with the light and the materials.
Good effort Jo-ke. If the model was improved it would result in better renders so sorry to all of you for that.
