Dave - great looking table - any tips on doing the barley twist legs - they are popular as kitchen posts in freestanding kitchen pieces. I'm sure they are pretty high poly?

Hi dermot, I like the style of kitchen and design of kitchen. I couldn't resist to render it. It's up to you, if you want me to erase the picture I'll understand that.
Jarynzleasa - you did a great job. I dont have the skills yet to render like this. I wish more people would render it and give some info on how to do it. Thanks.

RE: Post processing
I love them all - there is something very "Irish Country Farmhouse" about the building - it has alot of the elements of this type of dwelling on the rendered side of the building - I would love to own one. Images are all superb giving different atmospheres but each doing the job well IMHO.

RE: Soft mood Living
Classy Fred, very classy. I love the furniture on the wall - very Italian Chic - this is very popular now in Ireland with the well to do crowd!!
I may use that in a future project!!!

RE: World Cup!
I would love to see England get to the final against Germany and then lose in a penalty shoot out!!! Carlsberg dont do world cups but if they did!!!! Classic.
P.S. Its only because the media in the UK will not give over about it for 50+ years - it does get on my man boobs somewhat!

RE: Luxrender
Nice image but very grainy - is that the look you are after? Concrete is a bit too white in colour for me too.

RE: Latest Kitchen
Cheers cadmunkey. I am actually thinking of touting for business over there in the "mainland" as it is extremely difficult in Ireland at the minute and i will have to cast my net wider for business. I am trying to get a website up and running and am running around taking pics of previously fitted kitchens to put up on the web so I can attract the business. I take great pride in doing a job that I would want done in my own home and to date have never disappointed anyone. I hope to convey that in future models and renders also though the more I look at that last model I cringe - it is terrible. Im much better at the real thing. Thanks for your comments.

@solo: saw that picture before in an ad for a 10 year old car, one careful driver and only 7 miles on the clock!!!

RE: Latest Kitchen
No problem. I wish I was busier doing bigger projects but they are harder and harder to get nowadays. Everyone is cutting their prices just to get a wage. Competition is fierce right now. I am busier trying to get work than I ever was but not as busy manufacturing. I know with my improving skills in modelling and rendering I will win more as time goes on. Good luck to you.

RE: Courtyard House [WIP]
pugz1983 - super model and unbelievable render. I just wish I had a clue as to what you guys are talking about in relation to the plants as I would love to use some in my kitchen renders for decoration of the scenes.

RE: Latest Kitchen
@stefanq - see attached quick model to show you how it was done - a picture speaks a thousand words!! (and you dont need a translator for them!!!)Upstand Attachment to Granite.skp

RE: Latest Kitchen
Cheers Oli, Frederik and Coremaster
@stefanq - i could tell you but then I would have to kill you afterwards!!!! Holes in the main worktop to screw up from underneath, then two spaces in the base of the upstand to screw the small worktop onto the granite.

RE: Latest Kitchen
Dspace - Thanks man.
Richard -thanks for the comments - not really any experience of photoshop post processing - any good books/tutorials you can recommend to someone who wants to pick it up. Again the handles were the clients choice and she was very rigid on their placement and orientation. She had seen a kitchen very like this in Germany and wanted to recreate the look. I had an integrated handle which runs horizontally on the door sample and she liked it but decided to go with the other.
Jopperman - thankyou. I will try to get a pic of the finished paint job for all of you. "Masters" is a bit much !!
thebestvip84 - thankyou
Mtntrails - scribes are "tight as a gnats chuff" as they say here! Bar is engineered stone; "Hanstone" is the make. I always do this though some people notch them as they feel it can be a bit of a dirt trap when sweeping the floor! Thanks for the comments
Fymoro - thanks - coming from an expert like you means alot!
