Entity Info - component name fake alert

Often, when I want to rename a component, I get "The component name must be unique" alert message, but I don't write anything inside, i just click on the Definition Name field, in order to edit the existing name...
Is just me, or SU8 is far more full of bugs than SU6 was? -
I am having the same problem. It is driving me crazy. I want to rename a unique component, don't even get to write anything, just click on the Definition Name field and it pops the dreadded message.
I also discovered that it pops up only the first time you hit the Definition Name field. If you deselect and reselect the same component, go to Def.Name field, it will not show the warning.
