Thanks. The University of Tennessee diploma is a big-ass piece of paper! Hopefully, soon I will have an architect's license to add to them.

RE: Stadium people
Thanks, everyone, for your input. I've been away for the holidays, hence my silence. I will try your suggestions (the q-tips sound interesting, too bad I cannot use them), but part of the dilemna is being able to see the people from all directions, including from above.

RE: Sketchup prehistory
I first heard of SketchUp from DataCAD LLC when SU first came out; they sent a demo CD, with an introductory rate to DataCAD licensees. SU was VERY basic then, a bit too basic to be of any use. I didn't buy a license until the end of version 3, when I saw a noticeable improvement.

RE: Is Europe a country?
That's scary. I think the blonde hair coloring has gone through their roots into their brains.

RE: Stadium people
Thanks for the suggestions. I don't think that image would work, 3eighty - we've got the bleachers themselves modeled, and just need to populate them with individual people components. Modelhead, your solution sounds like a great idea. My other thought was to just model a sphere and a cylinder for the head and body.

Stadium people
I need to populate the bleachers in a stadium with people. Since most will be seen from afar, they could just be "blobs." Anyone have anything of that nature? Any help would be most appreciated.

CatchUp competition question.
Are there any rules regarding what we can submit for the CatchUp competition, besides those listed in the newsletter? Specifically, may we submit something that was modeled and posted on the old pro forums years ago?
