Hello

I am experiencing a problem when I try and copy/paste from one window to another. I am running Sketchup pro 2020 and OSX10.15.3. Basically I thought that it was all items but it appears to only happen when something is grouped or a component. If it is one of these then I can copy and use the menu item to "Paste in Place" but paste itself does not work. Although it works on loose geometry. Within the same window Copy and Paste work normally. Any help, advice extra would be greatly appreciated and I can upload a simple file if that helps.

I have the same problem and it is infuriating, particularly when you go into a sketchup viewport (within Layout) and the dims look OK and then don't... At the moment the discrepancies between Layout and Sketchup (toolbars etc..)is a little too much for Rapid Working. Please would the Sketchup team fix this and then for me Vectorworks would be a thing of the past. Slightly off topic but within the theme of Sketchup/ Layout oddities.

I wondered if anyone can help. I have upgraded (trial only for the moment) to 2019. I am loading plugins gradually and I have had an issue. I attempted to load CSR bounce on face (which I find soooo useful) and was unsure if it would work as it was copied from my old folder as there wasn't an update available. After installation I had the error message for rgloader pop up (which I had never seen before). Thinking that car was the culprit I uninstalled but it also seems to have made a mess of my Skalp installation; (which I then removed and re-installed but still the same error)
Does anybody know how to fix this, I enclose a screen grab of the error message and also a screen grab of the rgloader file that I got from the website on the error message. The error file goes on for longer than this but I can't upload it.

any help is greatly appreciated

I had a question that I don't know if any developers (or anyone else) could help with. I am working on a Mac and it has always frustrated me that I cannot add icons to the toolbar in sets as you can in Windows.

This post really consists of two questions

i) This first one is for Aerilius really, can your excellent toolbar editor be used in Sketchup Pro 2018? I haven't loaded it in this as I was not sure it was still being updated

and/ or

ii) Is it possible to make a nested folder that can go into the top toolbar (similar to the arc/ rectangle/ circle tools). I would love to have an icon set (VRay for example as one icon, Joint Push Pull as another) and then I would always know where my tools are.

I appreciate any help in this matter, and if anybody can develop something like this it would be an extension that I (and I would think possibly others) would be happy to pay for as it would greatly improve my workflow

I had this problem, I am using a dual screen set up and if I start Sketchup on the screen with the lower resolution then it seems that this then solves the anti aliasing problem temporarily.

Yup, profiles is set to off and edges are on, there is a thread here that I found.... hopefully the engineers will take this on board but if anyone has any workarounds that would be great

Yep, there doesn't seem to be a control for this other than turning edges on or off, I have compared 2016 and 2017 on the same monitors and the edges are definitely thicker and the visuals feel more cartoony and clunky, particularly if you are putting smaller items such as plug points and props into your model. It would be great if the Sketchup team could implement an edge thickness setting similar to the section cut thickness.........please!

Dear Sketchup team, it's good to know you are own these forums. So far everything that I have seen in 2017 is great bar one exception which I feel is a backward step. In 2017 the edge lines seem to be a lot thicker, is this to do with the hi res dpi setting? I am running across a laptop screen and a main dell monitor and the lines are far more distracting than they were previously.
Do you think that you may be able to release an update where you can turn this setting off or make the edge lines thinner.

Hello, could anyone help. I used this plugin with 2013 but it does not seem to work with 2014. I find it very useful, particularly as I use a mac and you can't stack the toolbars as you do on windows

Just a quick note as to issues on the mac, mainly so that hopefully Trimbles engineers will pick up on it as these seem to have been experienced by other people as well
Non Sticky Palettes
Shortcuts keep disappearing and toolbars do not stay where they are
Pre selection on the push/pull tool is erratic

I am running SK2013 on a macbook pro with Mavericks 10.9.1

I have purchased a new Macbook pro with Mavericks and have noticed my Sketchup 2013 pro stuttering with my Wacom tablet (intuos pro) although I also experienced problems with my old one when I tried it as I thought it may be the new tablet. There is no stuttering when I orbit using the trackpad but it is making it very difficult to navigate the model. I have upgraded to 10.9.1, used all the latest drivers etc... Any help or advicewould be much appreciated.

Does your plugin work with 2013 yet, I was using it with Pro 8 but it seems to not work with 2013 (but it could just be me!). It is incredibly useful by the way so thankyou very much and I hope I can get it to work in 2013

Sorry, just a quick question, does anybody know where the styles folder has gone, I usually keep one in my sidebar to add style and I cannot find it under the application support in users or on the hard drive. I am running OSX and have just installed 2013 pro.

I have just had a quick play around with 2013, apart from the icons ( which are less visible than before for some reason) could anyone please tell me if anything has improved. It seems very much the same except for the extension warehouse which we already have here

I also found that if you change the word form windows to mac in the browser bar the it take you to the correct version
