Nice!!! Even so, the run about $10,000, more than I would ever shell out for a printer.

Hey Mistro. Your Render's look amazing. I would say that the only tip I can give you is to be careful with your textures before exporting into Kerkythea. Basically, if your mesh is painted different on the inside than on the outside, Kerkythea will randomly choose one of the textures/colors to render. This can wreak havoc on models, believe me. Anyway, keep up the great work, and let me know if you have any questions.

Mistro,
I have had a bit or experience with both Sketchup and Kerkythea. Do you have a specific question? If so than it has eluded me.
Cheers,
On my version of Sketchup than the materials browser does this automatically. Any more info would be helpful.
Cheers,
Ahhh........I see. I haven't found anyone willing to pay for my models yet, so I just give them away ( I tried to sell one once but was ripped off). Anyway, thanks for the help.
Cheers,
Well, thanks for the compliment, but I haven't been modeling in Sketchup to long, just about two years. Are you on the 3D warehouse?
Cheers,
Ahhh....okay, thanks guys. Yep it's working now.

Hey guys,
I have just started working on a new project, but every time I create part of it as a group or component, nothing happens. The model is included. I opened a new file and tried to make a group, a minute later I tried a component, and both worked. Thanks a bunch. EDIT: Model has been removed.
Cheers,
I think that Mr. Hart has the right idea. The version I used was run on a mac, but the control interface was on the I-Pad. It was cool, but not extremely functional. I do like the idea of building maker on an I-Pad, however, and I look forward to trying that if it is designed.
Cheers,
Which render engine do you use? I generally use Kerkythea, although I've tried Twilight and Render[in] without promising results.
Cheers,
Don't start with a big project: Do something simple as your first model. In other words, rather than trying to do an Abram's Tank as your first model, try a door or something.
Cheers,
That app is really lousy........just my opinion
Cheers,
Wowsers......Well, if ever I need a theme park designed, you're hired

Pretty good.....you should look up the raygun by aNgRyWaFfLeS, it's also a steampunk style. Keep up the great work,
BumpMaps, I definately want a good bumpmapping tool.
I saw someone run it on an I-Pad through a USB connection with a Macbook. It required some special coding......This happened a while ago, just a few months after the original I-pad came out. Sorry but I don't have a video. Again, it was a work in progress, and several things weren't quite right......Most plugins didn't work, there were some problems with shadows, but it was a start, at any rate.
Cheers,
