Question:
I am trying to use a slider to power a simple gun. I grouped the slider to the "bolt" (the part that I want to slide) but when I try to parent it to the barrel than nothing happens. I select the parent tool, and than CTRL-Click the barrel. All that happens is that the joint-connector tool selects the barrel, but it doesn't parent the slider. Any thoughts? EDIT: I am using Sketchup8 and SP 3.1.

One feature that Kerkythea is lacking, unfortunately, is a way to move/rotate a model in an accurate notation. I have been looking for a plugin/hack that would fix this but haven't found anything.....I'll let you know if I come across something. Cheers,

Come on guys, you shouldn't need to download anything.....there are very few things more simple to model than a nail or sphere. In fact, if you have the SP plugin or the add shape plugin, you don't even have to model the sphere.

Select the arc tool, then select your two starting points for the arc. Use the arrow keys to select which axis you want the arc along. Does that help?
