Great that it works pilou!
I'm still trying to get a simple model to work
There are many things that can go wrong but try here
This person seems to have got simple stuff in.
Play up tools as mentioned are making a SU 2 Unreal4 exporter. Not sure if this will speed things on but they having a vote to see what games engine people use. Use the link above and vote for unreal4
Great stuff!
Curious to see how play up tools will get round the uv issues when exporting from sketchup. I'm very excited though.
Further reading shows that in the "next few weeks" they will release fuse 2.0 for photoshop where you can pose your Character. Can you then export it? dosent say.
Hello All
Recently Adobe bought 3d character maker and rigger software, Mixamo. You can rig and create your own characters for free for a limited time , on the proviso you have an ADOBE ID. I do, which is nice for me...
Unfortunately I haven't managed to get a character Posed. I've got them into Sketchup but in a t pose.
There are tons of animations you can associate but i don't really need those as a sketchup user just a single Pose
Anyone with a Adobe Id and in need a few Charaters to populate there models? Can you help

Play up tools - might be cooking up something for unreal4.

Great thank you.
So no plugin that can dig into groups?
Hello All
Is there a way to select everything and then only select construction points. So when I say select everything - all my geometry is neatly in hundreds of groups within groups etc.
I used 'pipe along path' many times and forgot to turn the cpoints off (although they were extremely helpful for placing etc so I kind of needed them) I went to take a quick 'Plan', I zoomed out and realised my mistake, when all the cpoints are noticeable and detract from the main information I need to convey
so I would like to put them on new layer and be able to turn them off.
or
is there a visual setting ?
cheers in advance
Chris
Have a look at this -
Hello fellow Architects & Arch Viz Artits! I’d like to show everyone what we’ve submitted to the Marketplace. This is a copy of the post I did in the marketplace forum. I’m re-posting here because I’m not sure how many p…
Epic Developer Community Forums (forums.unrealengine.com)
they've submitted this to the marketplace - if it gets on it'll be $85
looks like what we all need.
Now.... how do we get Sketchup and Unreal to talk?
As always your work and speed is sublime !
If only ACT was updated - it's been the same pain in the a*se for so long now. We don't need those extra layers! I've never needed those camera volumes it produces and you can't turn them off. They keep coming back and It's slow slow slow. Grrrr.
Grumble grumble.
Hi Tig, - Great Plugin again. there is a clash with ACT (advanced camera tech) that you and people should be aware of. the ACT automatically creates layers and then geometry on them. This leads to your pop up box repeating itself. you have to switch SU off using windows Task Manager.
i disabled tig-layerwatcher in plugins manager - restarted and ACT works fine.

Looks amazing!
this is a tutorial for lighting like koola https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vdNg1D87FY
I've not seen any videos like this so far - basic and simple - the post processing volume is where its at! its also a good indication of how long it takes for the lights to build as he/she doesn't stop the recording (obviously you can scroll forward)
this guys good too UE4 Arch - his channel is - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjpFOf-YWpois6WVG6hqXNQ
great. so you got no errors when building the lights?
and you didn't need to go in to another software like roadkill?
Autodesk is making a games engine too.
Kaas: have you had much success using roadkill? so what happens after you use road kill? what do you have - an .fbx to import?
