I haven't been on for awhile so I hope I don't embarrass myself with this post. Is there a ruby that allows you to draw a square or rectangle from the center (like the draw circle) or from the center of the edge?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Fredo´s Tools On Surface can do it:

Select the rectangle tool and then you can choose the option you want on the onscreen toolbar.

...or just the native polygon tool, set it to 4 sides...

Funny how sometimes it's the simplest approach. Thanks d12dozr.

The only problem with this is that you only have the option to chose the centre point and the a corner [circumscribed]. What we need is the ability to select the centre point and then an offset perpendicular to an edge.

              purpose/expression/purpose/....
