On the topic of the individual has anyone read 'The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind' (1976)by Julian Jaynes? Very interesting theory about the emergence of human subjectivity and concept of self. There you go. Serious enough for you?

Quick question. When you say purge all, what exactly does it purge? It just sounds a bit scary.

I researched Alienware as a possibility for my laptop. Apparently their customer service is a joke. Technical enquiries to their support team often end with 'why don't you just type it in Google 😲 ' Also I've heard of serious overheating problems.

      Just a moment...

Check these guys out. I got a lappy from them. Very good Cumstom PC makers with nice interface.

Brilliant renders! I was just thinking since your last employer only does traditional style houses perhaps it would be a good idea to model up modern ones. This will open up your options. One with lots of glass would be a nice contrast and some interior to go with it.

I noticed on the second image the tarmac is a bit to light. I would have made it darker.

Another idea. Why don't you model up the 'Magnum Opus' of the office you are applying to. That way not only are you show casing your skills you also appear to be enthusiastic and interested in what they are doing, which often can be the key.

You can get the Lightup plug-in can't you? I've seen some beautiful work done with it. Haven't bought it yet because its a bit pricey atm.

That doesn't make any sense. Surely higher screen resolutions mean more pixels to update for the graphics card!!!

I use 8600m GT without too much problem. I have the latest graphics driver. the default graphics driver kept crashing. Anyway it is 175.5 it think and its from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com website. You see the driver is actually for desktop and you need to run a mini-crack to install it on your laptop. There are clear instructions on how to do that on the website. Just follow it you should be fine. btw the latest Graphics card on Macbook Pro is also 8600M GT so you really shouldn't have a problem.

Chango- I can't find the 175.5 driver at that website, do you know where else I might could find it?

Looks like the latest stable is 177.73. Try that. http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=19790

Try Irradiance map as primary engine and Quasi Monte-Carlo as secondary engine. When you say slow interiors what kind of time are we talking about?
