Component list export to xls format?
Hello to you all, once again!
What I would like to ask is if there is a plugin already that could export to xls format a list about components of furniture, windows, doors, items in generally, so that it could help calculating cost of the final, delivered project. If there is none already, I was wondering if anyone is up to the task? If you find it useful as I do! -

Thanks for answering so quickly Gai and of course for the links!

Please advise! (UV Texturing Question)
Hello to you all folks!
There is something that is bothering me about UV texturing.
Can it be achieved inside SU or do I need an extra APP? And if so, are there any free out there? ... and possibly (if not much to ask) point a direction of a tutorial showing the workflow that needs to be followed to have a descent render? -

RE: I could use some help with this chair...
Hello Anastasie,
I tried to model your chair in 3 different modeling software. It seems that high poly models that come into SU in original dimensions, wont work as expected. SU is great but cant handle that high geometry. so either you enter it scaled up and bring it to regular dimensions inside SU or you import your model in your scene of your rendering engine (if you render it) as an obj file or 3ds. But there is always the choise to model it inside SU as already posted in a very easy way.CAntonis

RE: How to accurately modify the size?
@liangzhu said:
Thanks. I tried these two methods but I can not see any input window for size, is it because my version is free?
Hi Julie!
That "input window" is on every SU version , pro and free! Maybe you it wasn' t activated from the start. When you start SU does it say on the bottom of your screen "Measurements" right besite an input box?If YES, that is exactly your input box for typing , whatever you wanna type !
If NO, then go to menu: View > Toolbars > Measurements , and thats about all!
Hope I somehow helped!CAntonis
