Any ideas for an outdoor add-on to create a bit of a patio area?

Most definitely, need to get the interior finished first, then will plan a lightweight de-mountable deck, with probably a shade sail over.

My data is costing 10 bucks per gig, ridiculous, but that's Australia.

That's crazy expensive Baz, have a look at a new plan, Belong offer 15gig for 40 bucks I think, and there are lots of others throwing it around at the moment. I used their offers to push my Optus plan up to 30gig a month for 45 buck.

Thanks muchly for the upload Box.
I'm in NE Vic and Telstra is the only game in town, and even then I need to have the phone taped to a window!

I don't suppose someone with a good data allocation would like to put those Dropbox photos up here?

      Cosy!

OK JuJu, that sounds a bit condescending or did I misunderstand?
What you see here is a cutting edge living space. And yes, it is cosy in winter and hopefully cool in summer.

Or did you mean just small?
Which is a very different thing.

Not condescending at all. I could picture myself in a space like you've created...

      Ok,sorry, tis' a mis-translation then.
In Oz, Cosy equals cute. I hate cute πŸ˜„

so far this plugin is a waste of money...
I bought the educational licence and the overlay they provide cannot and does not scale to the maps they provide.
basically, the buildings and roads are out of scale with the maps which makes this overly expensive app useless. I contacted the company 2 days ago but have had NO RESPONSE. I would avoid this app, it's useless and unattended to. Next step is getting blender and doing this in a way that actually works.
      Give me my money back

i suggest you chill brandon. whatt will get back to you. be nice.

although in hindsight, rereading your post, this is a forum where people try to help each other, so I now suggest you go blender yourself. xx

    • Movin' on...

Hi chaps, just a heads up to my friends here at SU.
About to move from the burbs up the country to the King Valley (One hr. NE of Mansfield).
Internet will be patchy so I don't suppose I will be keeping up much.

I am going to build myself a Tiny House on wheels. Very exciting, a chance to use everything I've learned about boatbuilding, furniture and design over the last 45 years. I intend the whole thing to be like a fine piece of furniture...my swansong.
Will also be off-grid about which I have only basic knowledge, so a steep learning curve coming up 😞

Designing in SU of course, I will share progress when I get further ahead.
On that note, is there anybody familiar with Victorian, (Australia) building codes?
I need some help with the specs, particularly the roof spans and connections. Happy to pay for some advice or even perhaps an engineers sign-off?.

So wishing you all a very happy Christmas.

Catch you all in a few months.

There are 2 overlapping warning windows in SU 2018. Someone to confirm?

I have it installed and see the three little icons, but haven't figured out how to change the North angle in my model,

or can I with this extension / whatever it's called??

Hover over the Icons, the tooltips are self-explanatory. Remember to update your scene if you want the angle to 'stick'.
