Do you have Vray 1.49.01? If so, in the Vray Material Editor, right-click "Scene Materials" in the Materials List and choose "Sort Materials Alphabetically."

On my version of Sketchup than the materials browser does this automatically. Any more info would be helpful.
Cheers,
I meant the vray material browser.
thanks gaieus, and did u just disable me from pming.?I apologize man!
Is it possible that the section cut lines show up as thin and not thick black lines??
is there a way to arrange names of materials alphabetically in material editor [of VRAY] It is very tedious and cumbersome to search for names of each and every material placed in a haphazard order.

Search for my
SectionCutFace
...section cut face doesn't work for vray for sketchup
My
SectionCutFace
tool does work... BUT because you can't export the SKP's SectionPlanes to external renderers you can't see the cut's faces, since the rest of the model is then in the way ! [It works fine in a SKP render though!!]
Is there a way I can use sectioncutface for vray? I don't want to use zorro since it will take a lot of time for pseudo destroying my model for this plugin.
in older version of vray [vray for sketchup 6], there used to be a box in which a blue filling space indicated the render progress. But in the latest versions, it's missing. Is there anyway to enable it?

Why not!?
of course artisan should be free..if a more advanced thing is for free then a basic version shouldn't come at a price...
