Yaaaaay... Got it working at last, Most likely operator error ( it always is) as when I went to toolbars and checked the box for extrude tools it came up. I had been checking the box under extensions.
Anyhooo feels so good to sort this out, even if it was just due to correcting operator error.

Darn Just did as per Dave's advice and still not showing toolbar for extrude tools.
I updated java too so completely stumped at the moment as to how to correct this.

Hi Dave,I already tried deleting and then re installing the extrude tools several times to no avail.

Re install only takes a few minutes as does re installing all my extensions. So it is not too drastic in my opinion. But I'm still not sure if I should delete every single file in the plugins folder or if there is something I should keep there that might be needed or is it okay to simply leave them all as is?

Quick questions. I've uninstalled 2016 version. Should I delete everything in my appdata roaming plugins folder? Is there anything there I should leave alone?

Hi Trevor, Yes all the png's appear and yes it is activated with a check to enable it. But I still have no tool bars or icons whatsoever. I tried disabling it, open sketchup again, re enable, open again and still nothing. Something is weird

I guess it would be quicker to reinstall SketchUp 2016 and reload all my plugins with sketucation's brilliant plugin store.

Icons for this extension are not showing up at all. This is on 2016 Pro version using windows 7. I can access all the tools via extensions but would like to see the icons as before. Used sketucation3.0 to install, tried deleting the rb file and install again but still no icons showing.

Any suggestions on what I can do to get the icons to appear again?

Looks like you have the group hidden with hidden geometry turned on.

Click on group > unhide > switch off hidden geometry should resolve the issue.

Have you tried to clear IE cache & cookies?
IE Tools Menu > Internet Options > General - Browsing History > Delete

Hope it sorts it out for you.

Will most likely kick myself later, as I really should know better, but here goes anyway,

First, I am a huge Sam Harris fan – have every one of his books- even though I do often find his hawkish almost watered down Pam Geller ”ish” islamophobia a tad tedious -not to mention his constant support of all things Dershowitz somewhat mystifying, yet understandable as Sam was at Harvard at the same time.

Secondly , I agree that the term genocide is overused in these discussions, is misused and of inappropriate usage.

So, lets break down and scrutinize just a few of the litany of Sam's comments.

Perhaps the maxim that “if one stops treating people as animals they will stop behaving as animals” can one day come true. I certainly hope so, for everyone’s sake.

Sam, also equates Hamas to ISIS or Al-Qaeda. This is simply untrue. They re all abhorrent, but hardly on the same scale of evil. What did Israel get from its dealings with the PA? Nothing but land grabs and a worse enermy to deal with . Hopefully Israel will not have to face something worse than Hamas, but if history has any lesson, its very likely.

I agree with you Israel has a head and shoulder standing above its neighbours when it comes to “Democracy”. Like every democratic country it too faces democratic problems. Just witness the development of Sahonium Detention facility a few kilometers from Um Al Hitan in the Negev.

These developments by Isreali extremists (Shas party) surly do not make for what a democracy should be and do not bode well for the future.

Lastly the idea that “the international media agencies spoon feed you their one sided stories with a clear and boring narrative” is also well narrated in the Israeli press by such notable and worthy journalists like Amira Hass & Gideon Levy not to mention The human rights groups in Israel like Bet' Selem and others, who daily work at providing a less jaundiced look at what is really going on in the area.

Interesting discussion. I normally refrain form commentary in these types of discussions but I'll voice my opinion here with an interest in this matter. I am half Arabic/Danish, by the way.

Hamas has a vile charter , though it was written some 25 years ago and some encouraging changes can be noted from some elements of it membership t go along with the PA's agreements with Israel.

The Likud charter is a complete and outright rejection (for eternity) for a Palestinian state and is a more recent document(1999) Look it up! It is not too pretty either.

I am having problems on only a few plugins. Artisan (Ext,W download)has a grayed out register, so I can not enter in my licence. What should I do?

I have tried to follow the instruction over at Vali Architects for Chuck's instant wall and fence scripts. Inside SketchUp > Windows > Preferences > extensions > install extension and navigate to where I have the newly downloaded 2014 zip files located, but it will not open them.

Do I have to unpack these (extract)? Or, what exactly.
A little lost here as to how to do this.

How did I miss that plugin...... for 4 years?. Have to try it out.

Yes, I think the above workaround would provide the best result. The roof tiles created via Instant roof are not individual tiles and only with the use of mission tile texture do the individual tiles seem to show.

So, making a small part of the roof with individually modeled tiles as a separate view port , perhaps masked and enlarged as a detail, should provide what you're seeking.
