Hi
Does anyone know how to get the arc tool to work - when I do get it drawing something I only get a dashed/broken line which I can only select little pieces
thanks

Has there been any headway made with the mac toolbar situation?
Has someone come up with a plugin that helps or is there now a way to group together the separate toolbars (the top custom toolbar line just isn't enough)
Does anyone here use substance designer or b2m to create a material then bring it over to sketchup to render with the vray /indigo plugin?
(Still figuring out if vray or indigo is best for me)
I'm figuring out how substance could help me in my workflow so any experience from other members would be great to read about
Thanks
This really looks like a game changer for many
I'm probably going to try and get the substance indie pack when it's next on sale so this would be a huge help.
Only problem is I'm very much a mac user - hopefully once the pc version has been released work can start on the mac version?
I've just posted the same question on their thread but how does this differ from the bool plugin by guild interactive?
Hi
I'm looking to purchase a render program soon for sketchup to do freelance work with and am having trouble deciding between vary and thea render.
I know that vray is the industry standard and probably has the best online community and the most features but it is more money and going by the trial version has much more of a learning curve.
Thea seems simpler and only slightly lesser quality from renders that I've seen as well as half the cost but there does seem to be less of a online presence and obviously there are less features.
I currently use the iMac 27" 5k retina (2015?) model to do my modelling on but I do have a MacBook Pro 15" 2010 model as well (the first model with the thunder port connection I believe) which I could use solely for the actual render processing time if need be
Obviously vray/Thea may function slightly differently on a mac vs a pc which may affect which program may work better
I get the impression that Thea is better for those smaller businesses starting out whereas vray may be better for those more established but there is little comparson on the web
Any advice and opinions would be much appreciated - thank you
