Hi folks.

You can control this using Window menu --> Model Info --> Components.

Check or uncheck the last box at the bottom that is labeled Show component axes.

That's what it now looks like when first opened; if you have not disabled the auto-start option, then once the model has been exported, those graphics & links in the main area slide away. I hope you think this is an improvement.

JD - Happy Friday! Finally had a chance to install the current maxwell render plugin - Awesome job!!! 👍 I like the UI improvements, but the render improvements are huge! 😍

If you accomplished that during the trial period, I would definitely invest the money. Would love to see what you could accomplish after getting more experience with it

Collada just doesn't seem to be that well supported. It seems like it breaks regularly with Blender updates.

@pugs1983 - I'm fine with the blender interface as it is v2.5 and higher. It's the rotate, zoom, pan that's been "fixed" from earlier versions that makes it easy to use.

The "Trial" version should give you all the features of the full pro version (which includes animation) but it expires after 14 days, so just register on shaderlight.com and they will send you an activation key which unlocks the pro version.
Once your trial is up Shaderlight will revert to the free version which as iichiversii says does not allow you to use the animation feature.

Problem solved!
I was able to select all and copy (ctrl-C) my model and paste it into a new drawing (all with vray plugin disabled.) The blended material problem is gone and the textures show up (and render) correctly when I open with Vray (1.48.89) enabled.
Now, however, I can't find where I read this suggestion to copy and paste into a new file (I thought someone had posted here, but I guess I read it in a different thread. Whoever you are, many thanks!)

OK - DR problem went away after I loaded a new options file, There was something corrupt in my original visopt file.

As for host machine - it's just kind of annoying that that last bucket sometimes sits there for half a minute after all the buckets on the slave are done. Oh well, certainly better than no DR.
