    An automotive TDF, a little lacking in finesse a la Lotus Elise and Porsche Boster but massively emotive and a true Alfa Romeo.

    This is still being built up render and scene wise so not the finished article but progress is erratic due to events outside of Sketchup.

        Not mine sadly, comes from turbosquid, https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/alfa-romeo-4c-960-1631922

        Initial is blender but it has an Autodesk fbx v ersion. Still needs cleaning for Sketchup use but each panel has 2 layers so these can be 'split' and cleaned up with Artisan/sub-d.

        I am trying to get the engine/transmission/chassis details added for a garage scene. Not convinced I can get this to cooperate tbh. File size.

          Some time to move things along a little. Not happy with some texture responses but time will tell.

                OK, there's a bug with PNGs with transparency that cause glowing fringes.

                Thomas is aware so expect a fix soon for that glow

                    Moving on a little, lights are now vanishing from the mopdel at a rate of knots.

                    Apparently adding a new user profile in win doze might do the trick, looking into doing that without win doze nanny complaining abut the same email address being used.

                        Ta mate, still learning how to best get at the machinery tbh. Rayscaper seems to be closer to Maxwell than Twiglet but great results are possible with both. Maxwell may, MAY, be turning a corner from what I have heard but seems to be having a crisis of direction. Expecting a lot more AI if there is a new build.

                        The model here had a few issues on conversion but tbh, a good model makes renders easier. Lots of groups that can be converted to components and miorrored means memory can be more eficiently optimised.

                          Issues with lights and adding them etc continue but still early days yet and much to attend to in future builds . No doubt all will be well in time.

                            Nice Render!

                            I'm working hard to get that next update out! This one is taking a bit more time than expected. Sometimes, I go into the deep end with making changes to the software, and then it takes a while to stabilize it. But I'm taking all those bug reports very seriously.

                            Cheers!

                              @pixelcruncher

                              Rather like the Whisky/Whiskey tour I am on a grand adventure. Twists in the road and potholes too but wtf? Folk are paying ten times aqs much for a tenth of the entertainment. Muppets.

                              Stay well mate and remember we need you to be whole during this roadmap. You need to remember the prime directive is. Be kind to yourself.

                              It WILL happen so Pole, pole, as the say at the base of Kilimanjaro.
