More Fredo6 plugins becoming paid extensions

Again, missing the point entirely. No one is complaining about paying for things. It's about things being given and then retracted. It's wrong, period.

I work in education and we purchased a Perpetual Licence for Fred-o-Scale back in June / July. However, now it says we have to update the plugin, in effect making the old Fred-o-Scale unusable... is this correct or am I missing something?

I'm fine with purchasing a license -- you should be paid for all your work in building these fine tools! But I can't find the page where I make the purchase. I've downloaded the SU Store Extension ... and still don't see pages that match. Please help, so that I can give you money.

I can not use my Fredo plugin bundle, Fredo scale, and Fredo corner.
I have paid for these extensions, but the license doesn't seem to work...
I would like to use them for work...

it crashes/freezes my system far too much, so much so it was ok to put up with this inconvenience when it was free but not as a paid plug-in, at least i know to know uninstall any/all plug-ins from this user now, i am NOT prepared to pay for a plug-in that crashes my system.

Fredo6's extensions don't crash systems for the vast majority of systems. What's different on yours?

You key words are "a vast majority of systems".....
As for what is different on mine, well sorry, my crystal ball is in the shop..
A PC running win 10, sketch-up pro 2021.
periodically upon selecting an edge to round off, the plug-in would grey out sketchup and display "program is not responding" this would become indefinite, requiring me to end the process which 9 times out of 10 resulted in a loss of project progress as the Recovered file usually rolled back around 10 minutes.
So as i said this "inconvenience" was acceptable to put up with as a free plug-in but not acceptable for a paid product with an issue/problem that in all likely-hood would be attributed to my system (as has been intimated) and in reality never get rectified. so no sorry no sale.
In real terms it just means i have to not be as lazy and do it manually.

no not at all, But as an engineer I run on pure logic.
So lets dissect what you said logically, with it comprising of two parts : "Fredo6's extensions don't crash systems for the vast majority of systems. What's different on yours?"
Part one stated that Fredo6's extensions don't crash systems for the vast majority of systems, which might be true, the key word for me to pick up on is "majority" which intimates there might well be instances of which it can happen.
Part two asked a question which is realistically and logically unanswerable by me, my system spec and file structure might be a contributing factor, but again how am i expected to know what is right and what is wrong without a known benchmark to work from, i cant just pull what is different out of my bottom?
realistically the only person who could have half a chance of answering that question would be the extension developer and possibly only after they interrogated the system in question.

The second thing is to make sure you have the latest version of
- LibFredo6
- Sketchucation ExtensionStore
- The plugins you use
If you can, go to menu Window > LibFredo6 Settings... > Check Fredo6 Plugins for Update.
This will tell you if my plugins are up to date.

And as an engineer, trust me when i tell you i religiously keep EVERYTHING up-to-date, and again from reading the already provided symptoms, logic would be work out that we are discussing one of the "round corner" plug-ins
