      Hi,
      I update this to v1.62.
Add new function: Multiple hole punching.
      Enjoy!

I could never get it to work

      Hi,durrroy.
The face and solid must be in same Group or Component or Model.
And ComponentInstance for hole must have hole option.
It is rule of this plugin.

If this is not solution for your trouble,Please show ruby console from 'menu' -> 'Window' -> 'Ruby console'
And work some with this plugin, the error message will show when error is happened.
or Download the example.skp that Dave R uploaded in this topics.and test it.
      Please reply the result.
      Thanks.

Sorry but your post goes into the 'most useless' category !
Please explain 'how' it doesn't work...
          Any Error messages ?
Doesn't it do what you expect ?
If you have the Ruby Console open are there any messages etc etc...
Does your PC explode... or what ?

Help us to help you πŸ˜’

It would be very interesting to drill holes by lot in case of large number of windows for exemple...

this new enhancement is working very fine πŸ‘

Congratulations dear tak2hata πŸ‘ πŸ‘ You've mastered herein a pretty good tool β˜€

            @cocotier
            Please remember that
This tool is intended to make holes on "solids" -> closed volumes set as group or component. This is not completely true since the following enhancement:
            Update in Dec 14 ,2011:
            Hole on unoccluded faces group(Tentative)
The group or component walls we want to pierce don't have to be solid anymore πŸ‘

                Hi,tak2hata.
Your Multi Hole Tool is very interesting and useful. But with Multi Hole I can only make holes into a solid using faces as definition of the form for the holes, with a component or group it fails to make holes into any solid...I can see in your video that you are using a group or component. Can you tell me how you can make it?

                  Two requests for future versions.
You can add a function: projecting faces in a solid?
You can add a function to hole or project a face, in multiple solid?

                        Hi,XIAOLONG.
Outline for cut openning must be drawn on X-Y Plane( Red and Green axis).
When the component is already existed,You rotate axis in that component.
And outline must be placed in the root of that component.

                            Hello tak2hata,

Your tool is impressive. I've done some experiments with it. It works really well. One question I have is it possible a component that contains some single solids to cut completely into the wall.

                            Charly

                                          I try your model.
And I move the face for hole to very small distance. It succeed.

The hidden line in the curved face is intersected with the hole on touch.

                                          I will inquire about it.
                                          Thanks.
