Speaking of animated figures in sketchup, TIG has produced some interesting plugins along these lines which could be applied to a series of pics of a person walking / moving... at least in 2d... See these threads: Image animator http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?t=33310 GIF extractor http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?t=33359 It might be worth something to you guys wanting to develop this... Cheers Dave

@dsarchs said: I usually use a texture for glass in Sketchup as a stand-in for a bump in rendering programs (Thea). No glass is perfect -- slight warping and imperfections. I usually use water textures scaled much larger (5 or 10 times larger than I would use it for actual water) and then a VERY slight bump setting, just to subtly bend and warp reflections. That's exactly my process... (rushing off to patent office)

Dryad is cr@p too. Of course, the best thing to do is not scour the Net looking for such software...but scour the Net looking for sites that have already done it for you. Link

@srbocanegra said: you can solve this problem by using an app like "the unarchiver" instead of compression utility, This way when you unzip the file it'll be a exec file with the .style extension. hope this helps you P.S. sorry for my bad english Boy, is this an old post to dredge up. There's no need to extract the contents of .style files. They should be placed exactly as they are into the Styles folder.

Nice! I bought almost all of them. If possible it would be nice to also have the photos used, as a complement to the drawn ones.

Well, subscribing (and paying) is the way to become a member so that you can log in and finally download there. Frankly, I also like freebies. But if a client wants something that is not accessible as a freebie, there are two solutions: you purchase the pay item and charge the client with the extra cost if you can (especially if he is so picky then he should pay for it) you purchase the pay item hoping that you can use it in the future, in other projects, too and consider it as an "investment" If you often work for clients with such extra wishes, it may be worth subscribing to FF. They have nice, high quality stuff there so it could make a nice turnover after a while as your work would be more quality, too.
