@bahjon12 said: hi thomthom, this is what the error says "Error Loading File vray_toys.rb No such file to load -- VRayToys/vr_camera.rb" and i use vray 1.0 You get that error because you haven't got the whole plugin, just the vray_toys.rb file. If you go to the thread I linked to in my previous post you can download the whole plugin. However, it won't do you much good I'm afraid for your intention of matching the render with the SU export. The original VfSU, which you have, does not line up at all. The closest you get is setting the V-Ray camera zoom to around 0.7-0.8, then you will have to tweak it manually in post. It's only after Service Pack 1 that the camera will be able to sync up. The latest VfSU version is SR1.5 (1.05.30). Download links: http://asgvis.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=90&topic=5531.msg30095 Note that there are some significant differences between the versions, and upgrading old models might need some work.

You're right, now it works. But I have to delete Sanchi (?) as well. With him it doesn't work.

Ecuadorian, i think its unlikely that the conversions would be done on your computer and then uploaded. Its more likely to be done at the google end, after youve uploaded your model. Having said that your model might not show up in the 3dwarehouse until the conversion has been done, which would explain the slowness.

@unknownuser said: I'd rather they fix a bug or two in the one we got. I second that. I'd be more than happy if SU8 only addressed bugs.

aww shucks! I've come a long way in this learning process. But don't you worry Todd, I've still got plenty of "noob" questions to come I'm sure! After all, my main goal is to write a script that is useful enough to make it to the big time, Smustard! So maybe after I figure out web-dialogs (SERIOUSLY CONFUSING), this greeble plugin will find a new home (am I dreaming, or what!) Chris EDIT: This script is outdated. Go to http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=16599 and download it there please! Thanks, Chris

I made a request at ASGVis that the texture paths where relative if they where located under a sub folder of the SU model. Also a package function which would sort out transferring to other computers. it's a pain, yes. The only thing I can think of, is to make sure you keep your files in exact same location across computers. (If possible that is. I can't for instance take models from work home to work on them because the textures are located on a network drive...)

the eraser tool trick is cool. to be able to select only visible geometry would also be good. another way is to draw the first face of your new object. then dbl click select it and make it a group or component. then open the group and carry on building inside it without fear of affecting other geometry
