I wish text to image did not exist but there is no doubt but grudgingly these images are very impressive. I feel the skills a lot of us have devoted our skills to learning how to model and render are almost redundant. But that felling will be felt by many. Doctors, lawyers, musicians and admin etc Jus saying. What others feel about AI

interesting design , not my cup of tea I'm more of a mid-century modern kind of guy. found the comments about what the bricklayers must have thought somewhat funny. when I worked in the construction industry 20 odd years ago masons were paid by the number of blocks of bricks they laid in a day. yes in my part of the U.S. the masons would not have been happy with this thing….

@unknownuser said: Why are beekeepers responsible for what is shown in the image? Some google search needed. Example: @unknownuser said: The pine scale (Marchalina hellenica) has been introduced to Attica … beekeepers have contributed substantially to the colonisa- tion of conifer forests … attracts other insects, mainly ants, which protect and/or transport the ..... woolly aphid (Adelges piceae, Hemiptera, Adelgidae) It isn't just my opinion. I've talked with lot of greek beekeepers. They do it purposely. BTW, honey from pine trees is of lower quality compared to other honeys like thyme, Erica manipuliflora (the best) , still brings lot of money. A huge production unfortunately. See my friends? There are more points of view on this matter.

Did a quick comparison test. Obviously my new PC is faster than my old imac....but just for giggles, here is the difference in Thea Render. I can't use my old Mac GPU for Thea rendering, can't be bothered finding out why, it's incompatible. Mac render time CPU: 140 seconds PC render time CPU: 23 seconds (7 times quicker) PC render time GPU: 14 seconds (10 times quicker) PC render time CPU + GPU : 10 seconds (14 times quicker) @Kristoff and Stefan: Temperature maxed out at 74 Degrees Celsius when rendering a longer scene. Thermal Status: OK

Nice, Eric. Not quite Hollywood quality, but pretty impressive for a museum video. It's scary to think it'll happen all over again to Napoli one of these days. My dad was there when it blew up again in 1944, having landed at Anzio 2 months earlier. He helped with the bulldozing of channels to divert the lava flows. We tend to forget it's not just history. http://ffaasstt.swide.com/wp-content/uploads/vesuvius-1944/mount-vesuvius-volcano-pictures-last-eruption-1944-11.jpg

@unknownuser said: how far out there are you roland? By some standards not very.....start Google Earth and go to Coldwater, Ontario. Just the edge of the wilderness. If you wanted to get a look at where we live you have to fly over. There is no view from a public road.

Very interesting return time for investment, I cannot see how that would work in a domestic setup but certainly of a size where this could be possible.

Maybe because they really want to promote the rendering engines (as this is such a big market for sketchup), but very few of them are actually on the extension warehouse?

@findthong said: Procedural and grammar based designs: Voxel Farm - Procedural Architecture Elements Trimble has bought Voxel Farm license. Are we going to see it being used inside SketchUp? I know that SU2015 64bit has cooled down all rebels... [image: zRbP_VoxelFarmClients.png]
