And I want your president (hell, any leader at any level in any country) to be smart enough to understand that 'respect' is not even close to 'fear'.

@unknownuser said: Are the millions of immigrants trying to break down the gates to Ireland, or the UK, or Germany, for that matter? Absolutely they are. It's one of the hottest topics in any European country at the moment. Every truck entering Britain has to be scanned by radar and have CO2 detectors inserted; and they're still getting in in their thousands....Iraqis, Afghans, Albanians...you name it. Link @unknownuser said: It was also billions upon billions of US dollars that helped rebuild and protect western Europe, and Japan, following the war. I have to check this fact, but I believe that Europe has not repaid most of what the US spent to help rebuild after the war. No I haven't forgotten the very generous gesture of Harry Truman after the war. But we paid back every cent of it...and much of that aid was exacted at a very high price in both money, territory and technology...and an ageement to switch the gold standard from the pound to the dollar, which the US then levered to huge advantage after the war. Britain only stopped paying for it in 2006. As for being jealous, guess again. It would actually be financially advantageous for me to move to the US, as the company is based in California, the other directors are there...and I'm paid in dollars every month and so lose money in the currency conversion. I have nothing against either America or the American people; they are extremely generous and friendly and the scenery is tremendous (well, I might make an exception in the case of Oklahoma), but I just prefer it where I am.

Because of Obama's inexperience in governance, I think it would be a smart move for him to announce his cabinet members, or at least the "major" ones, like Sec. of State and Defense.

Hmm, i guess its not for everyone. although id urge you to give it another go, i cant remember putting any complicated parameters in. also, try VMWARE, it emulates an entire pc inside your linux os, (so you just allocate it a few gb of your HDD, and then install xp to that)

Joe is appearing on Fox tonight. I would guess Joe would not campaign with McCain (hey, that rhymes!). So the main stream liberal media has been camped outside Joe's door just waiting to pounce and trip him up. Whey the hell didn't they camp outside Ayers' door in their unbiased quest for news.

Yea I saw this on a CNN video What's the power consumption to light output ratio. It would be cool for instance to have an entire ceiling made up of this material with the inclusion of light sensors and then only the portions that are in an area that is too dark would illuminate.

While a "thank you" is nice - I don't get upset when the files are downloaded without one. I don't see the point of the "65 downloads and not thank you responses yet...........geessssh. I do check backas well to see if sombody had a problem with or a question about a component. I do so love to see renderings when people do use someone's components. I would prefer that over the thank you notes! Bytor

I want to say Congratulations to you, American People, the things are now put on the table to choose, and this videos shows to me that after all, you keep united in the basis of the good humour, which for me, is a perfect point to start from. cheers and good luck.

I agree, Rick. The Democrats of old were fine. They were respectful of dissent, not intolerant of it. I've mentioned before how I felt about guys like Patrick Moynihan. There has been a marked shift to liberalism, to populism, to appealing to the "disenfranchised" by "taxing the rich". Making them the bogey men.

Peace and love, peace and love but dont send me no mail i am to busy, i have my drumming lessons Monday's and Wednesday's but dont forgot peace and love. I remember seeing him on a chat show about 12 months back and after listening him for a few minutes the guy came across as a total jerk, really arrogant and what seemed like a huge chip on his shoulder. The guy needs to take a long hard look at his self in the mirror and realise he got lucky in life. Maybe we should put out a web cast telling him to stop releasing dire, dire music. Peace ands love, peace and love

I have to agree with everything you say. As for how to turn the whole thing in to less of a circus, i wouldnt be sitting here spouting my opinion to all and sundry if i knew how to do that. And no cold beer for me, just a warm bed and a slight headache. Theres always the lie in though.
