As someone who grew up through the "troubles" - I would have a slightly different view of things than TIG and even Rich - this visit is a thank you for the billions of aid we are getting from the UK - and again Ireland will be sucking off the hind tit of England for another few years thanks to to ineptitude of the last Irish govt. That was a good read. It reminded me of having to sing the Irish alphabet in school..... We paid a visit to the island, very nice to see. A good walk to get there. Spent some more time at the attractive old square and at Stary Browar. That's an impressive and well designed mall by any standard. Almost a steampunk-like design, gave me some inspiration for SU! These seem to be the highlights of Poznan, the city seems more business like than historical. Not too much for the tourist All the same, a good visit.
