Video sites blocked in companies
-
I have just called a client. She said she could not see my YouTube video because YouTube is blocked in the building company she works for.
Just wondering if you have had similar experiences with Vimeo, Dailymotion and others, as it seems I'll have to start uploading my videos to a mirror site and I better choose one no one has blocked.

Best is ask to her, sites of videos that she can see

I guess Miguel wants a single place and not to always worry about where to upload to whom.
Interesting that Veeoh blocks Hungary for instance so please, not Veeoh. I like your videos!

Try signing up for dropbox. It's free, upload the video and send your client the link. Hopefully that won't be blocked and they can watch it. Also, dropbox is a handy place to store SU models when changing locations or computers; I store .skp files there when I change between my home PC and go on the road with my laptop. Easy way to make the file accessible.

Our office blocks content, not websites. One of the content categories is "streaming," so it doesn't matter what site a video is hosted on, we can't watch it. Fortunately, as of late, I've needed to "create a company presence on Youtube and develop a place for our clients to see animations that our firm creates."

Thanks, I had forgotten about dropbox. I'll give it a second chance now that I have 2Mbps upload speed (Had 300kbps when I tried it).
I'll try Skydrive, too.
