Nice find. I am amazed how certain visual cues can totally override one's natural sense of scale. The time lapse speed helps as well, making the ocean waves look like little splashes. I am not really believing that helicopter wasn't a toy or SU model.

my advice: get a train to amsterdam. it only takes about an hour and you'll see the real bad boys of architecture! There's a fantastic art gallery in rotterdam with some amazing installations, cant remember the name. I know the red light district is seedy but if you wanna have a really good night, its the place to go, in amsterdam anyway. Dam square woth a visit too. There's an absolute wealth of beautiful buildings all over. Check out borneo island if you do end up in amsterdam...amazing housing scheme and its just a short bus journey from centraal station. But apart from that, kick back, relax and spark up a fat one for me! and yes you gotta do the cofeeshops man its part of the experience!

Thanks for your response. It seems to be a non easy process. Anyway I will try to get more information and I hope the process has become easier in Europe as well. Thanks for now. Lorenzo

http://www.dpreview.com/ is probably the best review site for the pro/prosumer digital camera market- they go into great detail (10+ pages) on cameras that have been around for a while and still give excellent reviews on new released cameras. http://www.cameralabs.com/ is also very good, very detailed consistent reviews aimed more at the advanced amateur market. After months of research I've actually decided away from buying a DSLR as my next camera, think I'll go for a top-end compact instead: either the Ricoh GR Digital III, Canon PowerShot G11 (drool) or maybe the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3. The reality is I use my camera mostly for photographing materials for using as render textures so I need to be able to have it with me most of the time and for architectural photography used with a tripod so I don't need the ultra-low-noise large or full-format sensors which DSLRs offer. At "normal" light levels any of the above cameras will produce results as good as the lower end prosumer DSLRs so they only trade-off is not being able to upgrade lenses in the future. The brand new Canon PowerShot G11 is said to have much improved light-sensitivity; equivalent to 2 stops, which is very impressive. These compacts (which many journalism photographers carry as a backup) are generally more robust too. They're definitely a serious alternative to lower-end DSLRs.

Al, I've watched the Tut videos on Camera Match http://www.cgarchitect.com/news/newsfeed.asp?nid=4657 and it appears to me that Photo Match could be leveraged to do much the same if it had Camera Match's 'Masking with Polygons' feature plus the forced dimesioning feature. The attached are two screen shots of the 'Masking with Polygons' video tut showing the masked section being moved onto place, quite a neat feature Any Ruby Wizards interested in looking into a plugin? Mike PS: It might be an idea to split Camera Match if there is interest in discussing its features with a view to having similar ones in Photo Match? I know mavie he's hard to resist. With that white smile, and those innocent blue eyes I think he either has a pet dolphin named flipper, or is the posterboy to lure kids to join a radical youth group. (by the way... hi)

Ah yes, of course. A friend of mine has a 14 month old baby who know one thing of computers; where to switch them off. And she can even stand up and walk already.

Maybe the sky scrapers will sit on elevators. So you can sink it down by one floor. In the cellar, there are people (or elephants?) who push out the lowest floor. Then the building sinks for the next floor... Interesting that most high sky scraper will be built in the new industrialised countries. For us they would not be profitable.

@solo said: No, you will need to do a full install for that. Solo Thanks for the info. However, my question is, will the Window 7 64 Upgrade that comes in the Windows 7 Professional box do a full install from a Window 7 Upgrade install from Vista to Window 7 32. What I am trying to do is install the 32 until I have time to get another video board and extra memory. So I wish to install the upgrade 32 from Vista 32 and than later do a full install from Windows 7 32, which was an upgrade from Vista, to a Windows 7 64. The box comes with two disc, 32 and 64. So I am assuming that I can do a full install from Vista 32 to Window 7 64 using that disc. But will that 64 bit disc do a full install from Window 7 32 b? I know complicated and I may wait unit I have a new video card and memory and only do one upgrade. Again thanks for the info Solo Ken
