Chris, those wild turkeys are tough and gamy anyway. We're doing Thanksgiving with my family. Fresh turkey and all the trimmings. Fortunately we got out before the sleet and freezing rain began.

What version... both IE9 beta and FireFox 4 beta are smoother than "release" versions.

I left my comment. More Autodesk crap. Concept modeling is Sketchup's strong point and anyone who wants quick concept work knows this. Autodesk is trying to take a bit of Sketchup's user base with another product that will never hold up to the ease of use of Sketchup. Scott

Tom, Rich beat me to it. Showing the Lounge-Book being used with a seat / chair is probably not the best demonstration of its use. I use mine, like Rich, laying back on my sofa with my feet on the coffee table. As far as the ash tray goes, I have this located on the sofa arm! Its also great when surfing in bed! I must tell the Lounge-Book guys to show the product being used in these situations. Thanks for bringing this up Mike PS: Yeah, those 'gay' avatars are eye catching

Thanks everyone so far. The first series of links might be closest what I need. I could have been more prcise what I'm looking for. Here is an example of something almost identical: http://www.environmentsforliving.com/ click on "Take the Virtual Home Tour" Really 3d panos are just out, completely, no way to do that at this point. The client hates them with a passion. Also, this is a national scale project, and having the whole country have to download an extra plugin would not go over well. We might even be over optimistic by using flash honestly. I did make some progress with flash, and getting some basic buttons made that control animations. So I'll keep poking around to see if I can figure out how best to make menus and buttons and animations. Thanks, Chris

This brings to my mind a Youtube video from the Nobel Prize dinner, don't know from which year. Even the hosts (the King and Queen of Sweden) seem surprised. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pkqoox9WGo Anssi

I never got the bug to use internet email so I don't get how this is so big. I like having my email (which is overwhelmingly for business use) on my own computer, with "smart" folders set up the way I like, and an excellent spam filter all courtesy of Apple "Mail" app. It IS a real rip-off of time (but so can forums be). My wife is always browsing her Facebook. I have not felt the the need to get sucked in, myself.

Blender, I thought, also has an on board decimator. I fully appreciate why you would not like the program, however. Some who use it, do so only to port their models through it for different file extensions. I haven't used Blender since v2.45. But it taught me some concepts or approaches that can be applied in Sketchup. Some folks who use Sketchup, I sense, use it only as a necessary evil to get to the final picture.
