Familiar with this image. As Art Nouveau as it gets. Been tempted to give it a go myself. Would be cool to try and model some of the Nouveau style Paris subway gates also.

It looks simple enough to model i'd just intersect two solids. I found it here: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/bond-2015-007-spectre-ring-5585bff1b7d3496f997d6c6aae5d2d57

@xayzer said: Lovely style! Thank you all, I work it! Since Trimble leaves it to us (it is up to them to make the software more responsive and more efficient), we should take it and with the help of the developers (Fredo6, Thomthom, Tig and all the others, etc ... to make things progress.

Update. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. Here are the changes made: Random rotated the bushes and heights Changed the color of the floor lamp's shades. Brought the gamma down a little bit and most important: Fixed the ceiling wall lights. I remembered that emitters in Raylectron cannot be grouped in order to work. (DOH!) The shelving shadows look far better now. After fixing the ceiling lights, it rendered twice as fast. Done in 2 hours. Here's is the finished render. I will now re-render the bedroom scene from last week. [image: FYGM_tradlivingroomrender2.jpg]

Hmm.. I see a plus one there so maybe there will be others who can see a resemblance to their own! For the record, no mothers-in-law or ex mothers-in-law were used as source material for this model.

Very nice! Great presentation. The traditional ortho drawing reminded me of the discussion online that isometric drawings are passe and no one needs them with 3d modeling available. I just used SketchUp for a plumbing diagram, which went into CAD as an iso, for submittal to the city--thank you very much, but yes, ortho and iso works are still very relevant.

@shawb said: For me the outstanding image has to be ... Thank you, shawb! I'm a bit fond of that one as well. Unfortunately, it ended up being used very little in the comic book.

That is some seriously good texture work! Alas, I don't have the patience to deal with UV maps.
